She doesn’t look like much rn, but this is actually…. Very good for me. I haven’t done a FULL EPISODE SKELETON IN SO FREAKING LONG, I usually go straight into rough sketchy thumbnails and figure out the panels and dialogue placement as I go, but I was struggling with the format of the story of this episode and Mags gave me a couple of tips so I spent the rest of the evening chopping things up and tinkering with this layout, I decided…. ”Chris, you’re not gonna get some decent thumbnails done rn, just THROW IT ALL TOGETHER and zoom out and see how it looks” -and yeah, I KNOW there’s a lot of blank panels here, but I know what’s going in them, that’s not the problem - it’s the panel placement I needed to figure out AND

idk. Maybe… maybe that’s why thumbnails fuck me so bad (sorry) because I focus on details first, and then get overwhelmed with not knowing how to place panels and what not and OH MY GOD doing this after I just did two traditional comic pages over the holiday break really puts Things into perspective, and line is soooooo much weirder for me to figure out lmao

anyway, ACTUAL spoiler thumbnails on Friday, I just wanted to post the entire episode outline preemptively and ramble because 1. I’m proud I actually used this method again for once and 2. IF THIS SAVES ME TIME IN THE LONG RUN, ILL NEVER SKIP THIS PART AGAIN, I hate thumbnails, but the episode skeleton for paneling might make that soooo much easier

GOODNIGHT YALL
