Longs story short: 1.) Lucky! will return from hiatus in a couple of weeks! 2.) Like You should be finished before the end of August!!

Now, here’s some context: obviously, I didn’t make the deadline for the contest -which kinda sucks, yeah, but my main goal for making this comic wasn’t to win, so im not heartbroken by it. And you all know I’m still dead set on finishing it! But Lucky! has been on hiatus for waaaaaaay too long, and it’s making me anxious because I do.... sorta still get paid for that when I UPDATE IT. And I didn’t want to wait another month and a half to finish Like You before I started working on new episodes again, so Mags had me map out a game plan for myself to get back on track this summer.

The biggest problem I was having with finishing Like You and moving forward with bringing Lucky! back was that... I hadn’t really given myself a backup plan for if I didn’t meet the contest deadline, and I wasn’t sure how to proceed. So, now that I have an idea of how it’s gonna play out, I just gotta put the pedal to the metal and get back to it! I’ll be working on Like You and Lucky! interchangeably over the next two months until Like You is finished. So, one episode for each comic for July and August, and then it’s back to normal. Today is a Lucky! day, so spoiler tier: keep an eye out for some sneak peeks at the new Lucky! episode that’s gonna bring us back from hiatus! 😉
