Whomp + Work Quota Ramblings (Patreon)

Sorry for no posts today, friends. I hadn’t slept at all last night and Elias only gave me an hour and a half of work today, and a plethora of baby tantrums, so I only managed one choppy commission WIP -which I probably won’t post just yet.

I’m thinking of linking a spreadsheet here of work I’ve finished through the week, so I’ll have a bit more accountability with how I’m managing my work time. It’s not a to-do list, since those tend to get rearranged depending on time and other factors, but more of a goal to finish 1-3 commissions per day, upload one Patreon post per day, and/or do SOME comic work, but only if I finish commissioned work first. It seems ambitious, but that was what I was originally trying to do when this week started, until I needlessly got derailed by Lucky and pushed commissions aside for a day or two.

The point is: I have the drive to work, but I don’t always channel that energy appropriately when I have the time. Commissions/Patreon posts have to be priority, and Lucky will be more of a “reward” at the end of the day. And with sharing the spreadsheet, I’ll at least feel a bit more organized and accomplished if I set a plan and stick to it, where people can hold me accountable. I’m rambling. I’m very tired. Lol.

The good news is that after the holiday next week, I get 3 baby-free days to play a quick bout of catch up. The bare minimum I want to aim for are some overdue Patreon things I haven’t been doing (one shot stuff, Mini comics, rewards tier, etc.) and as long as I’m on schedule with those, I’ll probably do some old commission work and Lucky stuff at the end of those days as a wind down.
