Character Introduction: “Talyn” (Patreon)

I’m working on another update now, so that should be up tonight, but here’s a fun extra I’ve been itching to share With you guys!

Talyn is the first real antagonist character I made for Lucky (Well. It was originally going to be Chris, and THEN it was going to be Red, but I have a bad habit of getting sweet for my “bad” characters and making them good, so let’s see how long this one lasts lmao.)

So far, she’s the oldest Shifter I’ve introduced. She’s an ex-“Executioner”* who now spends most of her days as an unconventional bounty hunter, for a lack of better words. She’s ridiculously tough and her powers are definitely fun, if not a little... intense. Lol. Don’t be fooled by her pretty face; she’s merciless. 

Fun fact: Talyn was actually a big part of Red’s Watcher training back in the day. They were... involved, you could say. So, in a weird way, she’s his “ex”. Needless to say, the two of them have a bit of bad blood, so that’ll be an interesting reunion.

(Also, yes, I repurposed one of my old angel designs for her because I loved the design so much but didn’t have a use for it, and Ira is my blue/purple Shifter, so Talyn is gold instead.)

*I‘ll have more written about the Executioner role in the future, but for now, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Ancients have a set role for certain Shifters that are particularly good at things like, well, torture, killing, etc, all that fun stuff. Talyn’s abilities fall in line perfectly with that type of work. She’s a treat.

EDIT: She also does NOT have a mid-form, because she spends 90% of her time in Shifter form. She thinks humans are disgusting and wouldn’t spend long enough in any other form for it to have any lasting effects on her mid-form like Red or Ira do.
