This is a map depicting a part of the Sea of Moving Ice. Very few outsiders of the sea of moving Ice dare to adventure in this dire environment. The shifting isles are very dangerous to cross as some are firm ground and some are floating icebergs. It's better to have a guide.

This is an exploration map. Play it as a dungeon where the party needs to explore it to find the village. You will find the labelled DM version here.

  1. Destroyed Cart
    A merchant got lost in this maze a long time ago and got caught in an avalanche. Maybe the wreck hides some valuables under the snow and ice that cover most of it. Prepare to dig...
  2. Strange Rift
    A spirit of winter inhabits this rift. It hid in this rift to escape Auril's grasp buit is now trapped in it. Helping it out could provide a good ally...
  3. Roc Nest
    The party maybe accidentally stumble on it and perturb the roc baby birds and provoke the wrath of the mother.
  4. Ruined Tower
    A couple of Ettins chose this tower as their home.
  5. Dead Dire Wolf
    This wolf is dead and blood is splattered all over her. Investigate to find what killed her and find her cub and try to adopt it as a pet.
  6. Crystal
    This crystal resonates and emits a strange hum. Find out that a piece of it can be extracted and serve as a compass, humming when facing norse.
  7. Inuit Village
    This village is inhabited by a native tribe. They produce oil from whales they hunt and used to trade it with the ten Towns. They heat their home with it. Now the trade is dead since Auril's grasp on the region. They live in autarky. They developed a clever use of the winds that sweep the area to power machines. They worship the spirit of winter but since his disappearance they are lost and he doesn't respond anymore to their prayer. IF you can find a way to help the spirit out, maybe you can win the friendship of the village.
