happy february! you know what that means, new month new patreon rewards! \^o^/ recently, I've been inspired by jellyfish. their flowing shapes, slow floating movements, and translucent colors inspire a lot of dreamy imagery in my mind. I made a jellyfish themed postcard in the past and thought it'd be fun to revisit the subject again and see how I'd approach it in a different way.

above: this month's postcard! I made a sketch several months ago in pen and marker that I ended up liking a lot. I thought it would be cool to turn it into a full artwork and thus this piece was born! I tried to capture the soft, otherworldly feeling I get when I look at jellyfish, time stretching and slowing as their bodies and tendrils are suspended in water. 

and this month's sticker! I wanted to try a different color palette with this artwork and do something more bright and fun. I really liked the idea of teal and green so I went with that to design a playful mermaid with her jellyfish friends.
