happy new year and three cheers for the return of postcard and sticker rewards! ^o^ I wanted to start things off by exploring one of my favorite subjects I can never seem to get enough of, stars and space!

above: this month's postcard! I started with a rough concept of hair made up of galaxies and stars and tried to translate that magical feeling through movement and glowing details. space always gives me a dreamy feeling that I'm constantly trying to capture in the art I make.

and this month's sticker! the sketch for this piece actually inspired both of the artworks for this month. I felt very drawn to the concept of swirling motifs and glowing starry hair, so it was fun to iterate on multiple designs to convey a feeling. the stars in the final sticker will be printed with glitter for that extra special touch of magical shine and sparkle~
