how are you my loves? I hope you've been well~ I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and was basically on full relaxation mode for a week while healing. I'm mostly back to normal now, it feels so good to chew on food again after a week of sending mushy, wet food down my throat like a snake lol. TuT

life has been really interesting since I moved and only now do I feel like I'm settling back into myself. for awhile there it was like change was happening nonstop. I didn't know where to go for something, how to pay new bills, where I wanted my work desk to go, etc. the constant shifting made it difficult for me to establish roots and feel centered. art and creativity felt like another source of change that was asking for more than I could give and it seemed I was falling short in all parts of my life. however, as I continue to get used to the new space and make it into a home I feel more and more comfortable and at one with my surroundings. at this point in time, art feels like a welcome repose and above all a source of enjoyment. I'm really excited actually, I have a well of creative energy within me that I haven't felt in some time. I want to open up and pour it into drawing and exploration! I resonate with the idea that life is more cyclical than linear. growth happens not in a straight upward line, but in all directions even backwards. we routinely revisit past parts of ourselves to make sense of the present and future. it's good to keep that in mind when you're going through it.
