hope you're well, hope you're having a good day~ I'm in another...weird place with my art right now. I'm in the process of unlearning a lot of habits I've created when it comes to drawing and it's growing pains all over again. I'm a big believer in changing things about yourself if you're unhappy with them and it's left me with a lot to think about moving forward. I'd be more specific but I'm not really sure myself what it is so for now cheers to building new habits and becoming better versions of ourselves! /clinks glass/

above: this was originally going to be the postcard for July but I ended up scrapping it because I just...didn't like it. and in the past that would've been really difficult for me to do, walking away from a piece after I'd poured so much time into it. but I'm starting to understand that time doesn't equal quality and that I have no obligation to work on something especially if I don't like it!

Howl and Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle! I actually read this book last year and was really interested to see it dive deeper into all the characters. I'd watched the movie first and was so charmed by Miyazaki's portrayal, but it's definitely much more lighthearted and sweet than the Howl in the book who is...temperamental to say the least.
