Changes to Patreon Charges (Patreon)

Hey Super Friends,

We strive be as transparent with you as possible - particularly about how Patreon works while you are supporting us here on the Patreon. On July 6th we received an email from Patreon "about a small change for some of your patrons."

Sorry to report this largely affects our International Super Friends. It also touches on Florida Super Friends and Kansas Super Friends as well. Per Patreon:

"We’re now required to start adding tax in a few new places beginning  July 15th for new and per post patrons, and August 1st for existing  monthly patrons. You have patrons in one or more of those areas, so we wanted to give you a heads up. Below are the new places and base tax  rates (in FL and KS, rates may vary based on the city), though in some  cases only a portion of a patron’s pledge may be taxable so their rate  could be less."

You will be receiving individual emails from Patreon next week with more details depending on where you are and how this affects you.

We love each and every one of our Super Friends. You have helped us accomplish amazing incredible things. You are JAWIIN FAMILY MEMBERS and you always will be. We also understand the reality and importance of finance. Please know whichever decision you make we are not upset.
