Hey Super Friends,

You've probably noticed that we haven't had many Book Clubs this year. We even put it to you whether or not you want us to continue this format we introduced last year.

Given the passing of Representative John Lewis, Ashley put out a poll on Twitter asking if Students would be interested in GEEK HISTORY LESSON returning to the #GHLBookClub format to read the first installment in his autobiographical graphic novel series: MARCH

The response was overwhelming positive, so we are going to shuffle around some of our episodes and work in MARCH BOOK ONE.

You can get your copy of MARCH BOOK ONE (hardcopy OR digital!), RIGHT HERE.

Please leave your thoughts, comments, and questions in the comments section on this post and we will read them on the podcast!

**note, we usually allow more time, but you have until FIRDAY, JULY 25th for a chance to be heard on the episode

Powerful illustration at the end how much a lot of the movement was youth driven. Do you think the same generational divide is evident today that John Lewis mentions at the end with Thurgood Marshall? I wonder what the MLK comic book that radicalized them to non-violent resistance is still around. Take that Seduction of the Innocent dude
