Hey Patrons,

Happy New Year! It’s the first month of 2019 and we already have some big plans and big ideas in the making over the coming months. Our family of supporters here (that’s you!), will always be the first to know. Thank-you to those who are joining me here on patreon with the New Year and the heartiest of thank-yous to everyone who has chosen to support me for another year. You all rock!

First off let’s jump on the Live Appearances train! Ashley and I will be tabling at the Second Annual Hemet Library Comics-On in Hemet, California on Saturday, January 12th. We may or may not be appearing on a panel (still waiting on confirmation!), but we will be there with copies of Jupiter Jet and other cool things we’re promoting. If you are in Southern California and swing by (bring kids!), we would love to meet you! Mention you are a patreon and we’ll have a special token of gratitude.

You can find full details at the official Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/2161898560723103/

Arrow, The Flash, and Black Lightning reviews will be returning to the Youtube Channel as the show return (Flash races back on January 15th!). In addition to these regular reviews, Ashley and I are thinking about reviewing Game of Thrones again for the final season. We don’t know yet when that is going to be happening, but if you are interested in having the Channel go back to Westeros one more time let us know!

If you listen to Geek History Lesson you heard the soft announcement for our upcoming project: Crisis Club! We’re getting closer and closer to launching it and there have been some really good guesses going around here and in The Mind University Facebook Group. Once we’re done with the finishing touches there will be a big launch both here and on the Youtube Channel - so keep those eyes peeled!

Speaking of Geek History Lesson, this week we dropped our BEST OF 2018 and a post here announcing the schedule for the NEXT TWO MONTHS! There’s some really important info there dealing directly with an upcoming hiatus and the first of TWO SPECIAL CELEBRATORY EPISODES we’ll be uploading to the feed in 2019. This year is the 5 Year Anniversary of the podcast and we want this to be a very special year for it. Hoping to make the first of many awesome Merch announcements later in the month!

Science! is still underway. We’re hoping to speed up the production schedule in the first quarter of this year. This will hopefully facilitate getting the book to the printer as quickly as possible. Almost all of our rewards are made/printed/compiled/et cetera. What’s great about this? It allows our full focus to be on the production elements of the graphic novel itself. We’re actually about to set a new writing deadline for ourselves in the coming days. As these updates have teased, both Ashley and I are working on Individual Comic Book Projects which we are planning to reveal here over the next few months. We are hoping these stories will garner just as much of your love and support as we were blessed with for both Jupiter Jet and Science!

*whispers* oh! and did someone say “Jupiter Jet volume 2”? Who was that? Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement in 2019.

If you follow me on Twitter (please follow me on Twitter!), you might know that in December I completed the first draft on my super secret Prose Book. I’m so proud of this achievement even as I dive right into the editing and rewriting phase. This part should be easier and quicker than the initial writing process. Ashley is serving as one of my editors as well as the resources made available to me through my publisher - which has been very supportive of me throughout the process of bringing this book to life. I can reveal the rough title to you as well. It’s called “Super Soldiers.”

Superman Movie Commentaries are the series we’re beginning the year with. They’ll be all the live action movies. Not sure yet if there will be featured guests (like we had for Star Trek), a lot of that is going to depend on scheduling. We hope these will turn out to be fun, informative, and … super!

My New Year’s Resolution is to create more. Everyone here is a big part of facilitating my ability to dream big and reach for more. Thank-you for sharing in all our crazy creations so far and for being brave enough to step into all of these new adventures with us in 2019, Super Friends!

Happy New Year, Patrons!

Thank you

Jason Inman
