Hello my superfriends,

First off, thank you for all the amazing support you have shown me over the last month. The support and the well wishes were beyond my wildest dreams.

But I wanted to tell you a little bit about the behind the scenes on my day to day life. Many days, like today, I wake up and look at my GIANT to-do list of various items (editing podcasts, finishing pitches, writing new videos) and I really don't want to conquer them at all. Then a new show like Krypton drops and I struggle to find a way to fit it into my schedule. (Spoiler: I can't.) The only way I find that I can make it though is to focus on what is the most important. What will matter to me if I finish it two years from now? Will that video review of Krypton matter? No. Will me finishing this prose book on the history of Superman matter? YES. So that's where I lean.

It may not mean a lot of immediate gains but in the long term, I think it will pay off. So to all you out there struggling and hustling, I feel you. Just keep in mind, "what will matter to you if you finish it two years from now?"

All the best

Jason

Great words of wisdom. Something I wrestle with myself every day. Thanx brother.

Best of luck with the writing. I got to hear Mike Greenberg from ESPN talk about being a writer as a second job, one time, and he said never try to sell anything until you are done with it, because finding time to write is the hardest part. I think about this a lot, as I'm also working on a prose project in addition to life as a father/husband/teacher. Make the time to write whenever you can, and I hope you're able to get enough written while doing everything else you NEED to do. Be well.
