So as many of you know, we hit a new goal last month that was my idea and dream of a new writing podcast. If you don't know, writing new content and stories is my dream and where I want to focus my talents in the future so this podcast is the perfect way for me to soak up nuggets of writing knowledge. Plus, you get to join me on these audio journeys. Here's the latest information I have on my plans for the show. Please let me know your thoughts to any of this info in comments below because this podcast is as much for you as it is for me.

* Current rough title -- MYTH MAKERS: A Writing Podcast with Jason Inman

*The First Release Schedule will be one episode a month for the first 3 months with the hope that I can work up to 2 episodes a month. This podcast won't be weekly for awhile as I need to time to figure out the best method of scheduling everyone.

* Episodes will be around 30 to 40 minutes. Full episodes will be available here at the $5 dollar Patron level. (Since it is already the Patreon Exclusive Podcast Level.)

* The first ten minutes of each episode of the podcast will be uploaded to my  Youtube channel. The eventual goal will be to release the full podcast to iTunes and more once I have 20 episodes in the bag. (Which you will all have heard already.

*The podcast will encourage critical thinking about writing and choices by asking each writer about their writing process, then asking them to elaborate on three specific choices. Their favorite fictional character, their favorite comic/book and their favorite movie/tv show. We will learn about their choices and loves by analyzing their choices with them.

*Here's an idea of my first 10 guests (None have been confirmed.) Remember, this is a podcast for all storytellers, not just specific comic book writers. I want to learn from all mediums: youtube videos, stand up comedians, prose authors and more.

I think this is a great idea, and I really look forward to listening. Once you get going, I think you will have no problem securing new writers for an increased release schedule. Off the top of my head, I can think of a bunch of novelists who are active on Facebook/Twitter and very open to answering questions and discussing their process with fans. Without the convention circuit to keep them busy, they might be a lot easier to secure on a regular basis.

Sometimes, you never know how much you needed something, until its creation.
