Hey Patrons,

Back again for my monthly blog, where I give you a peek behind the curtain that is my life. We got some really cool things going on lately and I’m ready to download it all for you!

On the Youtube side of things, I think I have finally figured out what I’m looking to do on the channel going forward. At least 3 times a week, I’m going to try to have a video where it’s my face and a graphic, talking about new comics/movie news & theories. Think like Sourcefed or Collider but for Jason Inman. I’ve been missing being on camera like myself lately, and I think going back to the old style of Jason Reads Comics is the right decision. Tell me below what you think, but I’m going to try to start that around 8/22. Don’t worry the recap shows won’t be going anywhere. This will be on top of those that we already do.

Over at Geek History Lesson, we can announce our next two topics: The Inhumans and Hellcat aka Patsy Walker. We’re going to tie the Inhumans into its IMAX premiere and Hellcat is a character that we love. And it just made sense to include into the fever that is Netflix’s Defenders.

Now on the everything else side of my life, I’m trying to complete a series of interviews with a bunch of creators for a book I’m trying to complete for next year. On top of that, trying to finish two pitches for future comics series. While enjoying Defenders Season 1 and the end of season 7 of Game of thrones, it’s been a busy time.

For PATREON, I have a question. Ashley and I have been debating about starting up a Mind University PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP for the Patreon. We’d go into this everyday and make posts and start discussions. Plus little short Facebook LIVE videos. Would this be something that you would be interested in? Because of the amount of work, we’d have to set it at the $15 dollar level. But please let us know down in the comments, if you would be into something like that.

That’s it! Thank you for all the support and if you want extra Geek History Lesson pins for your friends and family then go get them here - https://www.etsy.com/listing/535972795/geek-history-lesson-pin

Cheers

Jason Inman

I'd love the FB group! It would be cool to interact with other GHL/Mind University students on a regular basis!

I think the private Facebook group could be fun! I'd be willing to participate in the discussions that arose there. As for the videos and the new format they take, I say do whatever you're most comfortable and happy with. I watch/listen to your content and support you because I like you and Ashley, your personalities, the stuff you talk about... so I'll be watching no matter what you decide to go with! And good luck with the interviews and comic pitches! :)
