You guys! I applied for a Dealers Table at EF26 (August 19-23 2020) in Berlin, Germany again and they wanna have me there again :D excited (EF Ticket sale starts in 2 hours btw)

This year I wanna make some real merch... Not only some post cards and small goodies... I wanna make some more professional stuff... So I wanna ask you guys for your ideas.

What items are you interested in?

What merch are you willing to buy on conventions in general?

What are you interested to see from me as an artist in particular?

In the end I would love to collect your thoughts, gather inspiration and see how I can manage to produce those items you suggested. Just suggest what ever tickles your fancy and I will see if things are feasible.

Looking forward to your ideas!

BTW even if you can't attend the EF I might like to know your thoughts anyways since I may be able to sell merch overseas in the future as well.

Thanks for the support :D

Hope we can make something grand together

And maybe I can meet some of you in person at EF :3

LOVE

Really wish I could be there this year! We already talked briefly about this stuff, but I wanted to add some of my thoughts: Your art is great and I personally love it and don't think you should change anything about it. But during a furry con, you're in direct competition with a lot of other artists. And tastes from furry to furry can be wildly different. Good thing about that: There's something for everyone. Bad thing about that: You can't really anticipate what sells well. Personally, I like to buy smaller items at conventions: Keychains, smaller prints, badge lanyards (really good idea in my opinion as a spare lanyard can always come in handy!), coasters, small figurines, buttons or lapel badges. Some can be really fun, like themed buttons with a cool picture on it and a slogan like "Orcs rule!" or something silly. :P The more visible something is meant to be presented, like t-shirts, the less likely is porn content gonna sell well in my opinion. Because I don't necessarily want to spend 20 Euros on a t-shirt that I can only wear once a year. So it's difficult to find a balance. I would look into websites that can manifacture merchandise for you at a relatively cheap price, for low risk, and try to come up with ideas that would seem fun to you as an artist. And then try to come up with designs that would appeal to furries. Take Zootopia for example: Sure, copyrighted characters aren't allowed, but you could very well offer a button that has a quote from the movie on it, with a picture of a character that might maybe look similar. ;P It's just a silly example. x3 Hope my comment made sense. x3

Absolutly! This is very thoughtful and helpful as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to give me this detailed feedback! It definatly will come in handy! So sad we can't see us at the con this year but we will in the future. Thanks again!

When I am at a con I usually go for maybe on piece of clothing, stickers, pins, maybe a magnet. But if you get them made again I think your mousepad would be a hit.
