Peak content right here. Love the reactions, brothers!

That is indeed Dagobah from Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Jeff Gerage

Shaak Ti being stabbed in the back with a blue lightsaber was from the deleted scene of Skywalker raiding the Jedi temple as that scene was deemed to be canon version not to be confused with the revenge of the sith deleted scene of Greivous stabbing her in the back also with a blue lightsaber

Ricardo Ramirez

Qui Gon had to keep the force ghost thing secret because the last thing he wanted was for it to reach Palpatine's ears.

Ana Greer

Great reaction, I'm still here with you! Can't wait for the next one. Guys, I literally check my email constantly to see when the next one is up to view. Yes, you are right, this is the planet where we see Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back. It is also the same cave that Yoda sent Luke into when Luke had a vision of fighting Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back.

SpoRTan

PEAK cant wait for the rest of clone wars and EP 3

Essence Brown

I strongly strongly strongly enocourage y’all to watch Episode 3 before the last 4 episodes of Clone Wars season 7. It will hit so much better than watching the movie after the fact.

Jyn Jilly

Ohh, I thought they were referencing the deleted scene, I didn't know that wasn't canon. But I guess her getting stabbed in the back is an homage to that scene

Jeff Gerage

Anakin stabbing Shaak Ti was also a deleted scene like the Greivous one but the Anakin stabbing is canon

Spencer Allen

Agreed. I think as of right now they’re planning on watching the extended cut where ROTS and the last 4 episodes are edited together. Even so, I think watching revenge prior to those 4 episodes is the better way to go

SpongeGlock

Let’s gooooooooooo can’t wait for rebels and season 7 clone wars OUFF

Honest question: Why do so many of you all watch the edited reactions here on Patreon? Doing a full reaction watchalong with the show itself is really much much better, no? If you're not sure how to just use the Picture in Picture mode here and play the show in another app/tab and sync up as close as you can using a keyframe from the beginning. I pause main show video RIGHT as the Clone Wars title scroll pops on screen then play Drew and Joe and get ready and as soon as the title pops up on the PiP I press play on the main video. It's usually right on or a fraction of a second off. Just wondering though why it seems more people watch the cutdown edit. I'm just curious though btw. 🙂

Jyn Jilly

I think many still prefer to see their reactions to the highlights of the episode, but they're here to see it early before it gets to youtube.

Wayleran

Yeah that's what I figured but just making sure people aren't missing out on doing the full watch-along because they don't quite now how to do the PiP properly. Many months ago (a year technically, lol) when they started watching Clone Wars and I joined Patreon there were quite a few people asking me in comments "how do you watch it alongside the full show" so I'm just checking.

Matthew Pryor

You should REALLY watch Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Empire before Rebels and Ahsoka. You get backstory for Dooku and Ahsoka, as well as tying up some more threads from Clone Wars and more backstory for a character in Ahsoka.

Wayleran

Yeah that's cool. So have I like 5+ times now but I'm still a sucker for the full watch along! 🤣

Jaylight

Yes, Drew says he already seen Episode 3 before. But he doesnt maybe realize that doesnt matter. He hasnt seen the last 4 epidodes of Clone Wars yet and as a first time viewing, Episode 3 should be fresh in your memory before watching them. Also the super cut removes some of the title cards and stuff. The super cut is better for a 2nd viewing of the final episodes of Clone Wars.

"Loooong have I waited for this moment. 😈" -Palpatine Jokes aside, I am so happy I got to resubscribe while you guys are posting this arc. (I had money problems.) I am not kidding when I say I get emotional every time when I watch this arc. EVERY. TIME. George Lucas seriously mastered the art of presenting hope in the darkest of times in a story. 😌
