Caleb sounds literally like Freddie Prinze Jr. trying and failing to sound like a younger person. =P

Replacements was such a dark episode. It's starting to show the phrasing out of the Clones an aspect of Star Wars we haven't really seen with the transition phase between Republic and Empire being a very unexplored period in canon and even the EU. In Battlefront 2 (2005) for example we do transition from Republic to Empire with the 501st Legion becoming the first Stormtroopers just a year after Order 66. But of course there's no transition phase in between so right away we already have the classic Stormtrooper armour along with iconic Imperial vehicles. Bad Batch without going into Spoilers does this so much better introducing alot of early prototype stuff from troopers like we see in this episode but also ships and vehicles as well. It's just a blast seeing the early Empire and early precursor designs.

Remember the DNA sample is being used to produce millions of clones, we don't know what the exact cloning process is so it could be possible for the DNA sample to degrade over time.

Good Soldiers Follow Orders.

I love that they used the concept of blockchain technology in this episode. I work in IT, and I’ve had geeked out discussions on ways blockchain can be used beyond crypto. It’s super cool to see them put the concept to use here.

The Kitchen Nightmares sound effect makes me remember the old Mandalorian episodes with Matt lol.

Dawson

So idk if you caught this Holden but...

Remember the Regs aren't perfect Clones of Jango, they have been modified to age quicker and be more obedient. The only perfect Clone is Boba, who hates Clones(for the obvious reason that they all share his murdered fathers face) so I doubt he'd volunteer to help make more of them. Also they mention Jangos dna degrading in S3 E1 of Clone Wars.

Dawson

So glad you guys recognised Cut cause I couldn't handle another 20 comments about how you missed one character 🤣

Kanan and his master were even in an episode of Star Wars Tales. The second Ashoka episode when she’s training with droids and young Kanan is the one watching her in awe. He’s also in Clone Wars during the final season he’s standing in on a hologram meeting.

Jen was right, it’s “Three Men and a Baby” starring Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenburg. And it’s exactly what I thought of when I first watched TBB lol

That scene with Crosshair and the civilians...Kiner started his flexing there, his music really complimented that scene.

Joakim Bakken

Any episode involving Crosshair is pretty much a guaranteed banger. Definately the most complex character out if the bunch

It's my understanding that they're saying Jango's DNA sample used to make the clones is degrading and they are running out of time on their ability to produce more clones.

The creature in the 2nd episode is the same cat like animal in the arena in “attack of the clones” the one that scratched Padme’s back
