Hotsprings Request (nsfw-ish) (Patreon)

The nsfw-ish is because there is nudity (there is a second version with some soft dick if you scroll further just as a warning) but I don't really feel like nudity is something sexual since they are just relaxing here so it's not full on nsfw in my eyes? If that makes sense. But be warned XD

Also I know this is a bit earlier than usual but I just wanted to have it posted so I can start something new!

Apart from the finished piece and some close ups (bcs it is a rather busy illustration) I added some wip pics. Sketch, outline, flats, some cleanup and then rendering. The last two are higher res versions of the sfw and nsfw version. Just so you can have a closer look of the full thing if you want. 

Okay, so this might turn into a ramble, you can just skip it if you don't want to read it. There is no vital information here, everything has been said above XD
But this piece was driving me mad. I think when I got the prompt and I started having an idea for it I was kinda looking forward to it, but there has been so much going on last year that it just dragged on and whenever I came back to it I was just so overwhelmed. So many people and the background and then having to draw rocks. I don't know if everybody feels that way (I talked to a friend who certainly does) but drawing rocks is one of the worst things in the world. Just... getting their shapes kind of right especially since there are SO many different types of rocks. I know in this one they should've been softer and rounder bcs of the water but honestly, F it, I am glad they look somewhat okay the way they are now XD The downside of drawing fantasy is you don't have to draw cars but you do have to draw rocks. Horses are okay, horses are easy for me XD
But yeah, this is one of the reasons why it took me so long to finish it. And when I finally decided that i wanted requests to come back I needed to finish this one first. So I sat down on it last week on Monday and it took me the whole week, I worked on it every day except on Saturday, for multiple hours. There was a lot of trial and error. I was already in a bit of an artistic crisis bcs I tend to go through them and having such a big piece on my table did not help at the beginning. Picking my way through it helped me though. And even though I do see mistakes with it, mistakes I won't go into detail now bcs I don't want to ruin everybody elses viewing of it, I do enjoy the final piece. What I did learn though is that I will be careful taking requests of this size again. It took me way longer than I wanted and I really need to get going on Valentines Day stuff now so I had no time to do some of the self indulgent things I wanted to do. And 2023 will be the year of me being better organized so I can self indulge! Because knights and comics and all that.

Okay, I think this is the end of the ramble, I probably forgot two thousand things I wanted to say but whatever, the ahdh giveth, and the adhd taketh XD

(P.S.: Yes, there might be more game Geralt in the future. I mean I still like my version but I have been listening to a lot of the game soundtracks and watched some videos recently (because I want to reply the game) and he is having a bit of a grasp on me. I will still draw my version as well, so no worries. I like how I started drawing my versions nose and jaw and you can't see that with the beard XD)
