Goosie the Golden Boy (Patreon)

This illustration was made for the winner of my Twitterraffle in May. They wanted a portrait of their cat, Goosie! He has his own Insta page at @goldenboygoosie and he is a gorgeous critter. As accent flower they chose poppies. At first I wanted to give him a crown but I really liked the idea of some oversized poppies, inspired by that fanart with the roses I recently finished.
I added some close ups of the poppies (they were so much fun to paint, especially the black center!) and some progress pics of the sketch, outlines and flat colors.

I am slowly working through my WIP list, next one is something unicorn themed for June! I'll share the sketches soon.
