Powder (layered) Snow or Solid Snow, for mountain snow slopes? (Patreon)

Over the last maps ´ve tested different methods of applying snow

1. Snow Layers (Powder, Solid, Ice)
- In Maps like: Nerotorm, Pakanhall, Mawortan

2. Pure Solid Snow
- In Maps Like: Wullestor, Vetypso, Umaldoria

With the introduction of powdered snow, came a few new challenges and uses for players, but also for people that didn't know about it, would introduce a new frustration point. The previous method was layering Ice, Snow, and ontop Powdersnow,  to kinda recreate the compacting of snow.

Recently I´ve been simplifying the snow again, and just combining it with a frost layer, also to regain that "smooth" snow layer.

So my question is, what did you prefer?
