Hi everyone. :D

First off: A Happy Easter weekend to those observing it! I hope you're all doing well.

It's a new month and it has 5 weekly roundups in it! So lets go over the first one!


What's New:

So a lot of what there is to cover was posted in yesterdays public post but to summarize this weeks progress:

  • A programmer friend of mine wrote up a player movement script which we tuned over the week. So the player character can now move around freely in the dungeon.
  • I got the character and chest sprites into the game and animated them.
  • A musician friend of mine has provided a tune that plays as the game runs. This will be used to put rhythm elements into the game.
  • Also got opening chests to animate and work logically.

All this progress can be seen in this short video here! 

I'm also currently working on additional character sprites for movement to! (Moving upwards and downwards)

So overall a lot of little things are coming together to really shape up the game!


What's Next

So for the month of April my aim is to get you all a playable demo by the end of the month.

The honest truth for that is that I don't know what state of play it'll be at though. It's going to be full steam ahead in terms of getting as much art and gameplay into the game as I can though. In terms of me putting in the hard work and hours.

I think supporters deserve to get to play something by the months end. Even if it's going to be simple and humble.

So each week I'll be reporting on the games development progress. :)


The overreaching goal right now is to get this new game to a public demo state as to attract support but the game might be more then a few weeks away to make that possible. I really want that demo to showcase the game in the best light. Like I did with Ticklish Tessa.
