Regarding the part with saving the judge from the fire, I took it less vindictive on his part and more a subconscious desire to have saved his brother. It's also interesting that in a previous episode, one of Huell's supposed good acts that Jimmy invented was saving a bunch of people from a fire.

Yeah I think it's honestly both. I think all of these mixed emotions Jimmy has in regard to Chuck's death (the positive and negative) keep coming out of him in these subtle ways, often told with fire.
