Hey guys, I have some exciting news! I've been learning how to animate my models, it's nothing fancy cause I don't have the skills yet - i'm basically pressing all the buttons and seeing what happens for now - but here's a Mikaela dancing and wiggling to whatever song you want.

Now the big question is, would you be interested in seeing more animations/loops instead of stills/photo sets? Taking in consideration that the time it takes to animate and the rendering times are very very much longer for stuff like this (so you have an idea, I've rendered a test of this small loop in full resolution, and it took 10+hours for like... less than 10 secs), I would have to compromise one or the other. If I were to commit to animations, the amount of content would be reduced as well as it probably would take me the whole month to do an small set of animations/loops.

Anyways!! I'll send a poll soon so everyone can vote, but you can let me know your thoughts here too :D

Yess you should 🤑

This looks so good considering you’re a beginner in animating for 3D models, the movements are very nice! Good job, keep up the amazing work💕 Yeah it would be nice to see future short animations too ❤️

Echo42

With your art style? Absolutely.

Oh this can only mean good things to come! (Love ur dbd stuff, esp. Zarina)

The animation looked smooth & the jiggle physics were fantastic! I’d love to see more.

For the first time in animation - quite good! But as for you, I was sure that your first animated time would be with Cheryl, not Mikaela, hahahahahaha. Yes, I see that working with animations is an incredibly long and dreary process, but the main question is - does your soul ask for such work, Antheia? If so, then you definitely need to do more and improve. In my opinion, a whole studio of professionals should work on 3D animations, because for one person this is a huge, titanic work. And if the soul just asks for something new, then you can focus on art, and devote to work on animations, say, an hour a day, and at the end of the month either 1 full-fledged video for 30-35 seconds, or 1-2 shorter, but with variations. In any case, you are great, very responsible artist for constantly trying something new, improving, consulting with your audience. Bravo! <3 Perhaps, after 30 years, I will show this gif to my grandchildren and say: with such small, but quite confident steps, that same Antheia began work in animation. XD

Absolutely give it a go and try some more experiments! For a first go it was very good indeed

Only if you show off her feet ;) but yes you did great! Love it.

Thank you Chel! I can't take credit for everything since I've used a lot of help to set up this scene, but since I'm new to this it's a good practice to learn how things function. Hopefully I can deliver something nice for you all!

Migi

I'll try my best to keep my art style, it surely is something different than taking a pic and editing on photoshop since it's more like a movie! But I'll learn how to make everything pretty just how we like it ♥

Migi

I hope i can deliver good things! I'm still figuring out things and the first stuff might not be super good, but I'll do my best to bring our dbd girls into motion pictures :D And thank you, I'm glad you like my stuff and Zarina! Hopefully we'll see her featured again soon :D

Migi

Thank you! I'm invested in making everything as smooth and realistic within my skills and software limitations, and boobs jiggling are a must ♥

You know what, I didn't use Cheryl for this test because I know myself and I would want to nitpick every single detail, and I would have never finished this sample! And I haven't used Mikaela in a while so it was her time to shine xD You could say my creative braincell is like that kid that doesn't sit quiet, as soon as I feel like I've reached a 'comfort zone' and I've learned enough, my brain starts asking "what if we try this now...?". So here I am, diving into something new again! I follow some 3D animation artists on Patreon, and most of them spend an entire month (sometimes more) to deliver small loops of a minute or less, I think it's the norm for 1 single person (and 1 computer/GPU) working in a detailed animation. Even if we become fast at building a scene, the rendering times are something out of our control :( That is why I ask everyone if they would be fine with less posts per month, but short movies as a reward. Perhaps in the end everyone likes quantity and variety pictures instead of a movie. Haha, who knows where will I be in 30 years, maybe making Neuralink porn? If anything I'd commend your support if you stay here for so many years without getting bored!

Migi

Thank you! I'll try some experiments and see how they turn out, hopefully they are pleasant to see!

Migi

I had made an attempt to show her full body, but I didn't get the camera right so I discarded it, I'll share it with you since you can see a bit of her feet here: https://redgifs.com/watch/wittydazzlinggreatwhiteshark And I think it will be easier to show feet in general with animation (since I can move the camera around), so hopefully you'll be pleased :D

I totally agree I want to find a good balance between still images and animation, but of course I need to try first and that might need a bit time until I settle down the new info. I still love making photos and new characters, so that will always be regular content here! Love to have you here and hope you enjoy your stay ♥
