I've got a lot I'm dealing with, freelance/etc., so I haven't been able to sit and focus on ZR this week.

I had a little bit of time to sketch while on a phone call today and knocked out the first drawing of the Blight tendrils in Maho Noir.

The Blight is a physical manifestation of corruption that is overtaking areas of the city/world in Maho Noir... basically supernatural kudzu.

Also, yes, that's a stop sign. Living in a bilingual city, albeit one with a dominant language, it has opened my eyes to the need for better representation of important signage in a city with several races and cultures in it... so signage-- where available, in Maho Noir will be visual instead of language based.

Well IRL I remember driving through Montréal and seeing hilarious signs like "Pont Champlain Bridge." Plus it was funny that in Canada the red octagonal signs say “STOP ARRÊT” but in France they just say “STOP.” But seriously I almost want to start a United Nations petition to make your design into a real thing.

Yeah, that was planned for bad areas of town in the comic.
