I'm sure the Warden is supposed to be insufferable, but it makes it difficult to believe Rain has, up until shit hit the fan, been basically dancing to the tune of someone entirely unlikable who rushes him to save the world then tells him to chill out lol.

Agreed, it is odd how she first created a dramatic sense of urgency (including a timed killswitch) and then all of a sudden wants him to relax and take care of a his mental well-being. I also have a problem with her saying "Be a PERSON"; what Rain is doing is extremely human. The most common of fathers and mothers all the way to the most industrious of CEOs exhibit the willingness to put aside personal gratification and stress relief to achieve their goals, whether it's providing for a family or meeting a certain business milestone. Does stress break some of them? Absolutely. But it doesn't break all of them, and it's considered an acceptable sacrifice if it gets your kids through college, etc. Surely she understands this having literally been at the top of the world's power structure. She may be trying to avoid Rain making the same mistakes but ultimately is passing her message the precisely wrong way. She's also probably making a mistake that a lot of armchair therapists make as well - that Rain's brain does not function the same as hers. That his needs, both physical and mental, are not on some kind of standardized checklist.
