One of my favorite episodes! Unlike a lot of sitcoms where the plot only works because someone is holding the 'idiot ball' for the episode, here's an episode that only works because we the audience know each character so well at this point, and everyone plays to their strengths. Here's fun tidbit: the lead visual effects person on the show is named David Niednagel, and he's responsible for a bunch of the bizarre things that happened on this show, like Michael shoving his whole arm in Janet's mouth at the start of this season. Well, he was very taken with a throwaway joke from when Eleanor is at Mindy's house and they're discussing all the previous plans they had that failed ("Seduce Michael. Make Michael think *he's* the one in the bad place."). The joke was that one of the plans was "Catch that magic panda, use its powers" and everyone immediately figures out that that dumb plan must have come from a very confused Jason. Well, Mr. Niednagel liked this joke so much that in this episode, he put a magical panda into the show in a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo. Not sure the exact time code, but at roughly the 12-minute mark, you can see it teleporting from rooftop to rooftop with its magic. Haha.

That was actually awesome. I'm really glad Eleanor was able to put all the pieces together, and props to Michael for thinking of the plan and finding a way to get the message across. Actually, I'm not sure how I didn't notice earlier, but Eleanor is a lot more intelligent than I'd originally assumed. This made that very clear.
