The joke goes by too fast in the anime that I didn't get it at first, so I will explain the portraits. The first three are Toshirou's grandfather, father, and then himself, and the fourth in the other art style is them imagining his and Falin's son (name Falirou from both their names implying Toshirou's mother might have been named Toshi-something if it's a pattern). Also, Shuro isn't actually his name. Laios just misheard it and he was too polite to correct him, and then Laios introduced him to everyone else as "Shuro" and the name stuck. Laios literally doesn't know he's been using a nickname this entire time. As for Maizuru, she didn't incorrectly name anyone she knew. Rin was part of Kabru's group, and she reacted to Maizuru calling her Orin because that "O" before a word makes it politer. She did incorrectly call the gnome a dwarf, though again he's part of Kabru's group. All the people in her group, she knows the names of.
