This really is a great moment for Lucy's character. And the others too, even if it was based on the same false conclusion the audience was meant to believe, they came after her. (I don't think they ran the entire way, just from the train station.) I've seen Lucy get some flak over having such a "lame" backstory, which is stupid. A parent like Jude has an affect on a child, no matter how fancy or decrepit their house. So, all of Lucy's family members are named after songs. Lucy is from Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by the Beatles (which I like to also compare that her celestial spirits are the diamonds in the sky with her, even if that song is an LSD trip). Jude is from Hey Jude also by the Beatles and Layla is from Layla by Eric Clapton. There was another piece of a certain mystery given, though I'm not sure whether you missed it or didn't realise what it meant. I'll probably bring up this bit of foreshadowing when it gets revealed.

Her backstory is a little on the simple side, but it works well enough. I absolutely never would have picked up on the name thing. 🤣😅 Ooh I look forward to learning what the foreshadowing was.
