i did figure out today how to render out nice clean normal maps. 3ds max isnt really great with baking out normal maps, so i never really looked into it. but since its a must have in daz, i really wanted to know how to get proper normal maps. 

now we can have nice seams, stitching, and all kind of other small details

Nice. This would really help. Having the garments with good UVs and textures will help a lot in general.

yeah, you can have a bad mesh, but with good texturing and lighting, everything looks good
