Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 3, episode 3 of Camp Camp!!!  OMG!!!  This one was all set up how I thought it would be, and then there was that TWIST!!!  I love seeing the weirdly tight continuity in this story lol as we have some spies from the countries that Cameron wronged in the past showing up to take what's theirs!  And of course, there's a huge comedy of errors with Nikki and Neil about Max....because of course there is!  But WOW guys, Brian?!?!!?  Who knew!!!!  Guess he did it for the Colonel :P  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Manny

The person you least expected will turn on you quickly. This is true for Max and Brian.

I really enjoy this episode especially with some of its social commentary. I think it’s an interesting commentary to go into with Nurf how there are some Americans who don’t treat foreigners well or with ignorance although it was done in a comedic way with him doing it to an American Brian. I really enjoyed Brian being the straight man so to speak compared to the rest of the characters until the end of the episode of course LOL. Cameron has made a lot of enemies so I like how him making enemies came back in this episode although it’s wild that it was with child spies. I love how the kids are not interested in the scavenger hunt until ice cream is at stake it’s very realistic for kids. The skills of these spies are scary but it’s really funny how overkill they are even with just target practice. Space Kid reacting with the most anger we have ever seen & actually cursing to in response to Vera’s comment about America’s space program is one of if not the funniest SK moments. I think what we can learn from Max teaming up with who he thinks of foreign exchange campers over his friends is that people will do crazy things for ice cream LOL. Although siding with the spies really backfired on him once they think he has information they need. I can kind of respect how savage Vera is while using her skills against Max. It’s funny & really fits Nikki to misinterpret what’s going on as Max replacing them with new friends & I like your point after the episode that it makes sense for Neil to misinterpret it because of being on his own a lot. I was also giggling at Max mumbling about the spies making him do all the work LOL. The fight that ensues once Nikki and Neil catch up is crazy but I like once it zooms out it looks unimpressive. The twist of Brian also being a spy but one from Kentucky is brilliant I love the way his demeanor & accent completely switches up. His idea of what secession means is certainly… Something LOL his parting words are the funniest thing. The Colonel commands a lot of respect & power for Kentucky… It makes sense that chicken is tasty. I don’t think Max always deserves comeuppance when he gets it but this time he certainly did. I think the lesson that the person from America is the real problem is important & especially poignant in the present day with what is going on in America & I think you can guess who this commentary was probably talking about at least I think it was about Trump. Also I think it’s important to have commentary on North Korea in this episode since most people with even the slightest knowledge know how fucked NK is & for those who don’t it’s good to have opportunities to learn. Awesome reaction & thoughts. Keep up the great work. :-) <3
