Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 21 of Kamen Rider Gotchard!  OMG!!!!  this one was so sad!!!  And beautiful!  And EPIC!!!  OMG, this new Rider is SO SWEET!!!!  It's like Gotchard with a splash of Zi-O, I love it!  Not to mention Spanner worked through some real stuff here, his parents even helped, and then were set free :')  I'm so glad he's back with Kyoka, but it seems like we're not done with the lone wolf thing completely yet.  Oh yeah, and there's definitely something brewing with the sisters!  And who knows what's going on with Minato!!!!  Can't wait to see more!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

“Spanner doesn’t seem okay…” Well, that’s to be expected: childhood trauma will do that to people. One little thing I picked up during the episode was the exchange between Kyoka and Minato - it seemed to imply that they’re more than past classmates - she seemed to go right for some personal observations. Were they dating or something? What I picked up for as far as what the parents did was they were able to use a physical object to create an “alchemical reaction” for lack of a better term, they both grabbed onto something that was already existing. Thus prevented the Angel Malgam from reviving them over and over. Also, MadWheel “reforged” itself after Spanner got his hands on the Valva-RA-Driver - apparently it’s closely connected to him (would make sense), and also it seems designed to combine Chemies that add up to 12. Not sure what the significance of that will be, but they’ve emphasized it’s different. Perhaps Spanner’s vision was really his parents’ last memory of him before they were killed? Although if they really did see adult Spanner in that… well, we already know Hotaro’s got a future self. The timey wimey weirdness is out in full force. What is Minato REALLY after? He’s got an agenda, but he’s so awkward and vague, as Kyoka said, that it’s incredibly hard to get a bead on him. He’s up to SOMETHING. Also, was it really necessary to push Spanner that far? In the end, this episode is about loyalty. Spanner’s parents are loyal to him - Spanner is loyal to Kyoka - and of course Hotaro’s crew is also more than willing to help out. By the same token, the Sisters are beginning yo fall apart. We don’t know where Minato’s loyalty is, Atropos is blinded by her loyalty, Clotho is loyal to the other two, and Lachesis is realizing staying loyal to Geryon will probably not do any of them any favors. There’s definitely unrest in the ranks. Spanner’s current attitude kinda reminds me of when Polnareff went off on his own and got someone else killed in Stardust Crusaders. I don’t know if that’s where we’re going with this, but I’m willing to venture things with him are gonna get worse before they get better. Also, is that Henshin referencing The Fast and the Furious? Kinda looks like it might’ve been inspired by that, particularly with the bolt. Why does the brooding character always end up with the cool toys? It’s a trope. 😂

LOL like how could one be ok after all that right? Hmm, perhaps they were close? Ohhhh that's interesting about what the parents did. Oh that's interesting about it adding up to 12, didn't we establish it could only go to 10? Yeah it could be a vision or them really saying goodbye, they kinda left it up to interpretation. It's SO hard to get a read on Minato, I'm dying to know more! Loyalty really is a key theme here. I'm so curious to see this whole thing develop with Minato and the sisters. Oh yeah, it is Polnareff-esque isn't it! I really hope no one gets hurt/killed though :( Hahaha omg it could totally be a reference to Fast and Furious! LOL they've gotta keep the lone wolf/cool toy tradition going I guess!!!
