Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 2, episode 9 of Camp Camp!!! OMG!!!  This is just like the egg assignment that people on TV always get for school haha!  WOW, this one said a whole lot about parenting....and a whole lot about our campers....!!!  Not to mention it said a lot about the apparent worth of platypus eggs???  Ohhh should have known better that we can't have cute baby critters on this show.....it really says something that Nikki, the one who was sure she didn't know what she was doing, managed to be the only one to have her egg (briefly) survive!  :P  This one was sad and funny all at once!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

I think this is a great episode. I love how Max just wants to do nothing all day and I mean don’t we all some days LOL. Unfortunately for him Nikki can’t resist the call of adventure & they get dragged into Cameron’s illegal animal smuggling plan to pay for ways to protect himself from Thailand who he screwed over which apparently involves a fake assassination. I love how taking care of these eggs was a way for the writers to do commentary on different types of parenting & parenting in general. Even if Nikki didn’t know what she was doing I think it’s a good sign that the first thing she was focused on was love because while children do need a lot I think often what they need most is just love at least it’s one of the most important things that some parents forget. This isn’t always focused on but when Max is the only sane man in an episode it’s extremely entertaining especially because of the voice acting. I love how we go through many different parenting styles throughout the episode that reflect the personalities of the respective “parents”. I agree the abusive relationship one is the saddest because of what you mentioned about wanting to be different/make things different from his own home life that commentary on a relationship was a little too real. The “he ran away!?!?” Line is one of the best acted lines for Max. I think it’s so damn I hilarious that Cameron has some sort of sixth sense for when he is losing money that causes him physical pain. Just like you the “Swiss bank account” moment kills me. I like the messages of how if you are too lax as a parent your kid could get really hurt & if you are too controlling like Neil you could lose your child from holding on too tight. I love the main message of this episode that when you become a parent no one knows what they are doing, that there is not really a right way to parent. Yeah, I agree Nikki being the one who understands/is willing to admit that they don’t know what they were doing but also being the only one who managed to hatch their egg says a lot. And now Cameron is skipping town to another country LOL. Awesome reaction & thoughts. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Hahah I kinda feel Max on that one! The eggs were such a great setup to explore each character! I think Nikki understood it best of all, like you said, cause it was just all out of love/caring even if she didn't always know the right answer. The voice acting was so on point here too, you're right! Hahahaha it's such a great line right! Yeah the two extremes are never good. And Cameron's off again haha!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!

The end of the episode is so awful yet hilarious. And we’re getting closer to the finale! These last few episodes are so good!
