Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 2, episode 7 of Camp Camp!!! OMG the return of Bonquisha!!!  I felt so bad for David!  And as soon as the kids said they were gonna try every trope in the book, I immediately got scared!!!  OMG the Flower Scouts, I was DYING!!!!!  I mean technically, the plan worked....only it worked on David who saw Bonquisha with her new lover :(  Can you believe David throwing chairs around and stuff haha!!!  When he loses it, it's really special!!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Episode 7 is so damn funny. Even if it’s kind of mean I love how Max is finding joy in David dating Bonquisha. And apparently David has “gasp” been holding hands with her “how lewd” I love Nikki’s innocence LOL. Honestly David probably makes for a good date. And Bonquisha returns & brings all the innuendo with her. I like how even Max feels bad for David when she breaks up with him. I love how even if Gwen is annoyed she is showing a lot of kindness/empathy towards David even helping comfort him with ice cream. Listen Max probably should show more empathy but to be fair he already has a short temper & is a kid so him being annoyed makes sense. I love how Preston the theater kid seems to be invested in what David’s going through. You knew this was going to be a disaster as soon as children decided they would figure out how to get 2 people back together especially just using clichés and stereotypes from their real lives and movies/TV. The entire scene of the kids trying to woo Bonquisha into taking David back is so absurd I love how hilarious all the details are. I think it’s interesting how the show leans into some stereotypes while doing a lot of subversion as well with Bonquisha. You know when I first watched this I didn’t expect the flower scouts but when they appeared I was like of course they would be involved in an episode about romance. I’m sure someone pointed out the container labeled “shipping trash” I like this lighthearted jab at shippers like me & you. And then the plan becomes even more of a dumpster fire with these girls and their more childlike idea of romance & probably stuff they learned from the Internet and questionable stuff from Tabii’s sister LOL. Max’s line of “I haven’t seduced a man before… But are they doing it right?” Is one of my favorite lines in the episode & possibly in the whole show. And then it goes complete chaos mode with some Tabii madness. Also I know everyone makes the joke but she is now Tabii with one “I” yay for dark puns. I love the message David talks about at the end of the episode even if it’s a little undercut by the violence he commits against Bonquisha’s new lover. Listen even someone like David has a point where they snap the cut to black is amazing LMAO. I think this episode feels right to talk about my knowledge of shipping in this community. Many people ship David & Gwen but there are fanfics where they age up the kids & create ships like Ered/Nikki or even Max/Nikki/Neil. Although I will say there are many more interesting/cool headcanons & stories based on this show out there. Awesome reaction & thoughts. Keep up the great. :-) <3

Man, the first time I watched this episode David’s speech really got me emotional. It’s a really great lesson that I needed to hear at the time and I think is important for people to hear in general.

LOL I agree! Max has got a heart in there for sure! OMG their antics trying to get them back together are just priceless. OMG I've heard the Tabii pun and it's amazing lol! OMG the speech followed by the violence was so hilarious. Oh that's interesting about the ships! I figured there must be a lot. I can see David/Gwen for sure! Thanks so much!!!!!!!
