Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 2, episode 6 of Camp Camp!!! WOW guys....like we knew this would be weird because it's about the Quartermaster, but JEEZ!!!!!  I wasn't ready for the Quartersister lol!!!  And I definitely wasn't ready for the....erm....romance :/  Even Gwen, who was reveling in the absurdity, drew a line somewhere!!  And that twist at the end?!?!  So was this just a scheme to eliminate other family members the whole time?!  We'll never know...!!!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

I love episode five it’s great to learn more about David & the camp’s past. I would love to know how the situation with Space Kid came about. I enjoy how meta Max being so adamantly against flashbacks is its hilarious especially him trying to stop the flashback as the transition is happening. I love the subversion of Jasper being the best camper & not David. I agree David being such a watered-down version of a bad boy is absolutely amazing to watch. The voice acting kills me. Yeah, Quartermaster having all of these prophecies/ancient tomes is pretty funny. Many of Cameron’s comments as well as everyone respecting him so much but him not having an idea of what he’s doing without technology is a good way of reinforcing how much of a con artist he is. The is a gun technology moment is genuinely hilarious but I definitely would prefer not to know happened in Detroit. I like the gag of going past the same area over and over because of the meta aspect. I felt really bad for Jasper with all these terrible things happening to him. I love the comparison of David & Cameron was how ready to just cut and run at the first sign of trouble & how determined David becomes to save Jasper after being inspired by all his knowledge and love of nature/camping which is pretty heartwarming. I have to say, Cameron about to threaten or even silence David is a wild thing to see in a cartoon but good way to show how shady the man is. I love all the little jokes from Cameron this episode especially the I can’t hear you it’s too dark in here. I like how the light up shoes were useful in the end. Also brutal way for the bears to go out but at least Jasper was saved & we get to know where those stuffed bears at Cameron’s summer home in the present came from. It’s interesting how this journey was how David came to love camping & it did the opposite for Jasper. Even though I had not read the book I liked that this episode was named as a meta reference to a book that was pretty meta itself. I don’t know if I would say I love episode six but it’s certainly interesting. I can respect that Quartermaster is pretty honest about himself as well as how quick he would betray everyone. On the list of bad ideas bringing the sister into this was one of David’s worst ideas. Gwen being into stuff like Maury makes sense LOL. There is a lot of disturbing stuff I would rather not talk about especially in the place where Quartermaster works Neil had the right idea to burn it all down LOL. Although I think some of the stuff in there not being that surprising is a red flag. There is some sort of irony or something in Gwen being so into this until it went too far with the incestuous stuff I guess be careful what you wish for? There were so many red flags she just didn’t see it. It’s good to know that there are some things that are too far for our dysfunctional group of counselors & campers. It’s hilarious that there are some things even David can’t put a positive spin on LMAO. There is something supernatural going on with Quartermaster but at this point I had no idea what it was about. Also apparently the thing he kept talking about is some kind of contest within a family that decides who the heir of the family will be. Which Quartermaster apparently wanted? Finally Neil’s last comment hits the nail on the head in the wildest way LOL. One thing I almost forgot to say is I think you referring to Nikki as like a puppy is super wholesome. Awesome reactions & thoughts. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

It's so good! The flashbacks are amazing! OMG the voice acting is so good and I agree that I really don't wanna know about Detroit! Poor Jasper! And poor David too, the threat thing was just too much! The light up shoes lol!!! OMG those are the same bears? That's wild haha! It was so meta! I hear you about ep 6 lol. Yeah this was not David's best idea! Gwen was so on board until it just got waaayyy too weird haha! The red flags are plentiful aren't they! Yeah I guess QM was hoping for this ending all along?!?!! Awww yay thank you, I'm so glad you like me comparing Nikki to a puppy! She actually reminds me a lot of my dog haha!! Thank you so much for the encouragement!

Yes! This is one of my favorite episodes! It feels like Quartermaster is some Eldritch being. He had that sorta satanic artifact and ther cabin didn’t actually burn down, it disappeared in a flash of light where only he remained! It feels like they’re implying he absorbed Quartersister.
