Hey everyone!  I'm BACK with more Spy x Family!  Here's my reaction to season 2, episode 10!  OMG it was KILLING ME how wholesome and sweet the vacation scenes were!!!  And I love that Yor did get recognition for trying so hard to spend time with Anya despite being obviously exhausted.  It just made my heart explode to see Loid carrying his two sleepy girls, to see Bond tearily greeting them when they got back, etc.!!!  And the "bragging" didn't exactly go as planned, poor Anya!!  I guess we learned a little lesson in humility, but I still feel bad for her!!  Oh well!  Can't wait for what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

You know, if we get any more wholesome on this series, you might need to start stocking up on insulin. This was kind of a “let it breathe” episode, there’s not a whole lot of new info to analyze but… It does kind of reiterate why Yor is such a likable character. Thinking about how effective and precise she is while actually doing her real job, and yet how uncoordinated and completely hyper she is in her real persona, the whole package just kind of makes her that more appealing and enduring. Anya said she was worried about sharks eating everyone. No guys, that was yesterday’s show. Also, I think while none of the adults have truly made peace with the family being “real,” yet, there’s kind of a safety net around them when they’re with each other, because it’s who you get to see after the day is over. I would point to the RWBY song “Home,” because it’s a good way to apply the idea of their group here. Also, remember way back in the first episode when Loid was surprised he fell asleep in front of Anya? Well, the shoe is on the other foot now… anybody need new wallpaper? Don’t forget to add that new song to your iTunes too. It must be tough being a commoner among all these rich kids. Or is it perhaps Anya’s going to unwittingly teach them a few things, after she learns a few lessons herself? By the way, note that while his “henchmen” were ridiculing her constantly, Damian didn’t actually throw any insults her way, he was just kind of indifferent to all the jabbing. Anya on the other hand, has unlocked some new facial expressions… also maybe she understands what Loid has to do a little better now… Look, whenever Yuri is happy, you can bet it has something to do with Yor. Speaking of that… I get the sneaking suspicion that Loid actually kind of ENJOYS getting under his skin (let’s put the pillows even closer together…) You’re right about the irony that they’re all lying to each other for their own sakes and they’re trying to tell a kid why it’s not good to lie… the irony is imagine what they could do together if they all figured out they were working towards the same goal instead of trying to stay one step ahead… 👀 Oh, and apparently Loid wants to go back to his normal work week because vacation with the family is too exhausting… but then again this guy isn’t ever gonna know what “normal” is with these two around, is he? 😅

I’m glad we got some good family time after everything. This was a very sweet episode. Everyone was so happy for their return. My take away from this is don’t brag for good reason: they won’t get it even if you could explain in perfect detail. Before anime was as popular worldwide phenomenon I could have bragged about my collectibles all day but didn’t because as impressive as it is, people wouldn’t understand. And a decade later now they see the truth. I was ahead of the curb. She’ll have her day. Then she can humble drag 😎✨

Me too, wasn't it adorable?!?!! That's the thing, this is a good lesson in humility I suppose :P What an excellent example too, you really were ahead of your time and now you're reaping the rewards!!! It'll be the same for Anya, no doubt!!!! Hahah yes XD

Hahaha it's SO sweet in here right?! Yeah it was nice to let things breathe for sure. I couldn't agree more about Yor, she's so lethal in her work yet so silly and clumsy at other times. HAHAHAHAHAHA omg what is it with sharks this week?! Awwww Home totally applies here!!!! Oh yeah, we reversed roles with the sleeping didn't we haha. That's total wallpaper material! Oh thanks for the reminder on the song! I think Anya and these kids could totally learn from each other. I did notice that about Damian actually! Hahahahaha Loid was totally trying to irk Yuri with the pillows wasn't he?! I know, it's so ironic that they're all keeping up these lies for basically the same reason. It's a shame they couldn't all just work together! OMG for real, like what does normal even mean for Loid hahah!!!
