Hey everyone!  Here I am with the fourth ep of Oshi no Ko!!!!  Oh man, we've got a lot of moving parts here, what with the new dating show, Ruby and Kana making a go of it with their idol group, the CURSED COLLAB hahahahaha, etc.!  It's interesting to see how orchestrated even the "reality" shows can be.  And OMG you guys, I was not ready for the collab!!!  What on earth did I just watch hahahaha!!!!  Also, we're still on the hunt for info about Ai after finding out the producer isn't related.
So hopefully we can find out who this mysterious person was that she was seeing....as soon as the dating show thing is done!  Great ep!  Enjoy!!!  ~ MH

Hey Melissa:) In these episodes I was very surprised to see how well Aqua can act. I was really blown away by his acting skills and I think he can definitely become a great actor. I found it very interesting that they brought it up in this episode how bad it can be for mangaka when their work is animated or made into a live action film and then it's not true to the manga. I'm currently watching an anime that reflects exactly this topic. The manga deals with a controversial topic when it comes to romance (a 26-year-old man date a 16-year-old girl and they now eachother since childhood). I actually like that kind of thing, but the anime is animated so badly that it's almost funny to watch it because we got so many still images that you can no longer call it animation. the manga itself is really beautifully drawn and also has some very nice romantic scenes, but they are implemented very poorly in the anime so that you can hardly tell what the characters are actually doing. I don't even want to imagine how the mangaka feels when his work is so defaced and no more effort is made to deliver a good product in the end. I've been looking forward to your reaction to Pieyon for a long time because I knew you would really like it. Like you, I laughed so hard at these dance scenes and I thought this could be a scene in Jojo. the dating show where Aqua is currently taking part will take up a large part of the season. I always found it very interesting to see how Japanese dating shows differ from German ones because the quality is definitely visible. I find it a bit worrying if you film a dating show with minors, but as long as nothing shady happens, it's still okay. From the next episode onwards it will definitely be really exciting again.

Hey Leonie! :) Yeah Aqua has some serious skills!!! It's too bad about how these adaptations must affect authors, right? Wow, I can't believe that about the anime adaptation you're watching, that's too bad! I've never seen an anime with that many still images, yikes!!! What a shame that the translation from manga to anime didn't do the beauty of the manga very much justice. It must be really hard as a mangaka to see that happen! Your work is such an extension of your personal self, you know? Hahahaha I'm so glad you liked my reaction to Pieyon!!! HAHAHAHAHA ok I didn't say it but the first thing I thought was that this looks like something that belongs in Jojo :P That's interesting about the dating show, and also about the differences. That's a good point, I'm not sure I've ever seen a dating show with minors before? I feel like most American ones are people over 18. I can't wait to see more of this season!!!!

Luckily Strawberry Productions owns the "B Komachi" Intellectual Property and song rights....if nothing else they can sing cover versions of OG "B Komachi's" greatest hits. In the early 2000s I was going for my 2nd Master's degree (Library Science) and got married (and divorced).... I'm OLD ;-)
