Hey everyone!  I'm BACK with more Spy x Family!  Here's my reaction to season 2, episode 9!  Oh dang!!!  We finished up the fight on the boat in this one, and WOW was Anya the MVP here!!  The whole sequence of her getting the sai back to Yor was just ridiculous and amazing, and she also helped with the whole clock situation too!  Once again, the three of them are working together and don't know it (except for Anya)!!!  What a team!  I'm definitely down for some funny happy family vaycay now please!!!  Can't wait for what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

First things first, you have to be sent to timeout for not saying WAKU WAKU without the show prompting you to do it. I don’t make the rules, it’s clearly there on the list of expected behaviors. :P “I’m so glad we’re getting a Yor-centered arc.” Anya: Hold my orange juice. I should remind you there is a third song in this episode so, you might want to pop over to iTunes and find it, the name was somewhere in the closing credits. Anyway, Yor has steeled her own resolve to see things through, not just because she’s been given a directive to, but because she wants to be acknowledged by her own family. While I’m not sure exactly how that would work here (and neither is Anya), I think what Yor is thinking to herself is that she couldn’t live with herself if she didn’t do her best, no matter what she was doing. Poor Anya got distracted again…. Good thing Loid reminded her of a lot of bad things might’ve happened… but this is not Friday’s watch lineup! Rising Hope is a seriously powerful move. It was not even detected by either Yor, or the bad guys, and it basically took out three of them with one stone. Or, put another way… somehow, Anya managed to “Home Alone” the baddies without really trying. I didn’t put together the whole bombs and clock thing, but you’re right - the ketchup incident was similar. What I think is more telling is that even though Loid and the State Security Service guys were on ppposite ends of the board, they were all trying their darndest to protect the people who had nothing to do with it. Everyone just wants to live normally. Even Yor, who gets some much needed encouragement from Olka and her child that maybe one day, her family can actually know their own peace. Somebody set us up the bomb (had to do it once), but you and I both called that it was gonna go right to the Taft. So I guess the informant and his co-worker are… SHARK BAIT… hoo hah hah. Wait, no, that’s Finding Nemo… Something the informant said stuck though… he said the client would be happy because war would break out. This leads me to be further convinced that there is a link between this operation and Desmond… so is it possible Yor’s assignment and Loid’s mission just overlapped without either of them realizing it? The Director told her not to get sentimental, “we are just foot soldiers.” This is very similar to the story given to Twilight saying “we gave up any chance at normal lives when we took this job.” But you’re right, the lines are being blurred. Especially when you start looking at a pretend family as actually well… a family. In the meantime, please stand by. There’s a lot of bombs in the bathroom, but I’m sure we will return to the WAKU WAKU Kids Room in some form of shenanigans next week. (Don’t hold me to that literally!) 😉

Whoo all according to plan! Anya’s been marvelous throughout this whole thing. Idk why that hug she gave Yor at the end hit me that was really sweet. And the ending scene of them waking up and the beautiful shots of the scenery. It really was so serene. After the whole ordeal it felt good to see the result of a peaceful morning.

Hahaha I did need a waku waku reminder, that's true! LOL Anya shows she's the star!! Oooh thanks for the reminder on the song! That's such a good way to put it, Yor really has to give her all for the sake of the people she loves. Hahahha no this is not a Friday show so NOTHING BAD IS HAPPENING EVER! HAHAHAHA omg Anya totally Home Aloned this didn't she! I love Rising Hope as a finisher move, ngl! I'm glad you agree with me about the ketchup thing! And yeah, it's interesting how at the end of the day, no matter what side you're on, people just want peace. I really hope that one day the three of them (and everyone else too) can just enjoy peace. HAHAHAHAHA pun overload, whoa!!!! How can you not though lol. The sharks were just the cherry on top of the mayhem of that whole situation. Ooohhh good call about the line about war breaking out! Could it be we have an overlap?! Yeah the lines are so blurred at this point. That's the thing, the pretend family HAS to be a family in order for the mission to work...but then...they're not really a pretend family anymore, are they? Hahahaha that gives a whole new meaning to "blowing up the bathroom" doesn't it LOL!!!!!
