Hey everyone!  I'm back with Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 15!  WHAT?!?!!?!?!?  You guys, there is NO FREAKING WAY that all just happened!!!  How the heck did we start the ep with Toji being the biggest threat, only to have him help out, absond with Megumi, and FRIGGIN SUKUNA to show up?!!?!  I guess that's it for the girls and the plan to get Geto back.  Let's see how Jogo fairs!  Something tells me though, that Sukuna doesn't need to control Yuji for long in order to run amok.  Guys, please PLEASE tell me that Nanami and Maki are okay!!!!  PLEASE!!!!  Even Buffy was concerned!!!  Great ep!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

A longer comment from me about this episode is coming soon but I wanted to share my theories for the next episode. I don’t have many because I don’t think this episode gave us much to go on really being great set up but the big one is that things are going to get really bad/worse now that Sukuna is back & in control especially because he has his own plans. I think Toji went after his son because technically Megumi is the strongest one there with the ability he has started to use in the past but always stopped and I also would not be surprised if something deep down inside him instinctually knows that this is his son. And a fight against his son seems like a good way for Toji to get his awareness back which would lead to interesting stuff. I think N is the one most likely to be dead but I think N & Maki might have survived if he used his technique to freeze them in place for 1 second putting out the fire but even if that’s the case they must be badly injured after that at least that’s most likely to be the case. Also I think Jogo is going to put up a great fight but lose and not die. I can’t wait to see the next episode & hopefully this comment gets to you before you watch the next episode. But if not oh well. I still hope you enjoy my theories. Have a great day/night. :-) <3

This is an amazing but stressful episode I love it. Once again I like that the recap scenes are animated slightly differently it shows dedication not to just copy and paste the same scene at the end of last episode. I love the language being used by the narrator at the start talking about the Zenin members having double meanings. Naobito inheriting the clan’s curse because he has a cursed technique/energy but also inheriting the messed up way of looking down on those without cursed energy in the clan & Maki not being able to cast off the curse because even though she has tried her best to separate herself from the clan she’s still connected to it because of the very small amount of cursed energy she has, still being affected by the awful way the plan has/still is treating and wanting to be a part of the family to change it. It’s so interesting to see them compared to Toji who completely cut the clan out of his life doing his best to live the way he wanted to even with how the family influenced his personality as well as not having cursed energy. I love the title of the episode just being the 2nd part 2 episode we have gotten in the show combined with Toji’s amazingly animated entrance and how things are changing faster & faster in this arc but especially this episode it really makes this episode feel momentous to me. I like how Maki who prides herself on her strength is shown someone stronger than her when Toji overpowers her to get Playful Cloud. I got such a feeling of dread seeing him here but I agree with you that I can’t help but be excited to see him in action it’s so interesting in terms of a story. Also Megumi actually wouldn’t recognize his father since I think it’s implied his father left his son when he was still a baby. The murder machine line is wild. I love the explanation of why the séance ability is still going it makes a lot of sense. Dagon underestimating Toji was the biggest & last mistake. It’s so interesting that the narrator says that Toji is running purely on instincts implying that currently he has no awareness or higher thinking going on it must be a side effect of the technique going on too long because he had awareness when her 1st took over this new body. All of his crazy & as you put it gleeful smiles are terrifying but awesome. This fight is so amazing I could talk about it all day so I’ll just say some of my favorite things about it. The funny thing is that no matter what Dagon threw at him I was never worried. The man is so fast he can walk on water Jesus eat your heart out LOL. People kept saying this in some reactions I watch so I wanted to mention that there are definitely thirst trap TikToks based on this. I like the strategy of using eels to drag him underwater & the shot looks amazing. Those giant sea creatures are actually real based on creatures from many millions of years ago which is a cool detail. I love the moment of calling Toji a ghost while he is using Dagon like exercise equipment & I think Maki might have realized who this is at that point. I think it’s great that old man Zenin joined in to help deliver the final blow. Also Toji sharpening the weapon is ridiculous in the best way & the Sparks showing off his shadow is really ominous. I can’t believe this man used this weapon as a pole-vault to get to his opponent. I can appreciate & respect Dagon not giving up but he stood no chance. Toji turning himself and his weapon into a blender to kill Dagon is insane especially with the animation. This is a dark joke but he turned Dagon into sashimi, I love how the show depicts Toji’s ridiculous speed by having Fushiguro not even realize he was thrown out the window it’s crazy. Jogo showing up just continues the trend of this arc which is things going from bad to worse. I think it’s been made purposefully hard to conceptualize how powerful Jogo is because every time he’s fought it’s been against Gojo which is just not a fair fight. So getting a taste of how powerful he is by seeing him easily & quickly take everyone out is terrifying & certainly puts things in perspective. It sure doesn’t look good for Maki & Nanami but you never know with anime so let’s have hope. It shows how fast Jogo is by having it take like let’s say 10 seconds to get to the girls once he senses the fingers. The girls plan actually ended up working in his favor since it just makes it easier for him to give Sukuna control of Yuji’s body because of course Getwo as I have seen people call him would have an idea of how best to do that. It’s insane that Yuji now has already eaten 15 fingers when it’s still relatively early on in the story when we know the goal is to eat all 20 & then let himself be killed so that Sukuna will also die. The photo cursed technique Nanako the brown haired girl used seems cool it’s unfortunate that we won’t get to know the details of either of their techniques now. I love how the show presents Sukuna’s presence/aura with the sheer amount of fear Jogo & the girls are experiencing now that he’s awake. I particularly like/appreciate how Nanako’s terrified facial expression is animated. And you were right in what you thought his cursed energy feels different than Gojo because of just how evil it is which is crazy when Gojo was like a horror movie villain in episode 9. It says a lot that the girls have to remind themselves to breath & wonder if Sukuna would have a problem with even a simple action like that. The whole bow or you die moment is such a power move & Jogo getting a trim is darkly humorous. Also the way he just slowly walks towards them is so menacing & it actually mirrors the animation of Yuji walking slowly in the ending song. Even if they have/are doing bad things & aren’t “good” guys I think most people can respect & understand/sympathize with the girls desire to let Geto rest in peace by killing the parasite inside him when he saved and cared for them. It was cruel of the show to have a flashback for the girls right before they died because while I only have some connection to them I have major attachment/appreciation for Geto & knowing that they died when he clearly cared about them & wanted them to have happy lives which his plans would have accomplished is all very sad. And of course the show had to go and make me sadder by bringing up the fractured friendship of Gojo & Geto. I honestly think the girls would have been fine if they stopped at just asking Sukuna to kill the parasite & had not tried to bargain with him. Obviously we can’t know for sure if he wouldn’t have just killed them anyway but I think it’s safe to assume. The way Mimiko’s head is there one moment gone the next shows how fast Sukuna is. The way he looks at the one girl crying/freaking out over her sister’s corpse feels like he’s pitying an ant that’s how much smaller/weaker everyone is compared to him when it comes to his viewpoint. I think it makes sense that Sukuna is not able to manipulate the souls Mahito manipulates but it might also not be true because back In season one he wasn’t going to heal Junpei because he already has a pact with Yuji but if it is true I think it will be an important plot point for something to do with Mahito's character. Sukuna having his own plans is the scariest thing it just makes you feel anxious. I think we all had the same reaction to this challenge that Jogo is 100% going to lose but what is interesting is that Sukuna offers this challenge at all when it’s not really necessary. One last thing is that I think the way this story depicts the presence of a villain with what it does with Sukuna is the 1 of the best examples of this I have ever seen. And I didn’t even talk about the voice acting which continues to impress. Awesome reaction & thoughts and keep up the great work. :-) <3

I think you're right about that! Especially in light of what we know now about Megumi that makes sense! Everything this season has been so good, can't wait to catch up on your comments, thank you again!!!

Yes, these were definitely stressful! It's amazing how much they cram into each episode! I'm not sure the girls would have been fine if they had just quit while they were ahead; Sukuna is quite the beast! Glad you enjoyed the video!
