Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 4!!  Oh wow, watching Giorno and Koichi work together was sweet!  It fit so well too, considering Koichi's experience with the arrows and Stands like Sheer Heart Attack.  It also went a long way in proving that Giorno has the true heart of a Joestar descendant!!!  I loved watching all the strategy involved in fighting Black Sabbath, and wow, the tree thing was pretty mind blowing!  But dang you guys, my boy definitely does not play when it comes to, erm, justice......!!!  I'm definitely gonna think twice next time I go to eat a banana.....!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

What I like about Giorno is that he acts like a mix of a Joestar and DIO. He wants to save Naples by becoming the ultimate bad guy. And since he has Joestar and Brando blood, he's basically destined for greatness.

just make to sure you don't get hopes up this one of most slef contained jojo parts, have littlte direct crossover with parts both preceding and following it.

kamenriderhime

That's true, honestly I was really looking forward to that and I think they're pulling it off really well. Destined for greatness is a great way to put it!!

Hi Hime :) Remember what I said about Kira and the arrow, it gave him a new ability when he was ready to receive it, that's not really the case for Giorno at the moment since he starts all his adventure. As for the number, if I remember correctly, in part 4, it is never said how many there are in total, after all, Jotaro and the rest of the group are surprised to find another one at Kira's house. Not much more to add, but I can't wait for you to meet all the gang and get to know them. Two of them also have voices that you know well, since they are both in My Hero Academia. I'll let you try to recognize them ^^.

Giorno intensifying his stand too much, its ability affact on your internet signal.

2023-10-17 03:24:42 In this episode, we really see Giorno's dark side for the first time. It was really only a matter of time before Dio's genes would make themselves known. Although I have to admit that Giorno's method of killing Polpo was very clever and Polp deserved it. I think it also makes sense story-wise that Giorno is more brutal than other Jojo's, because in the mafia killing is the norm and Gio has to adapt to it if he wants to become the boss. But for me he will ever be a good boy. The influence of the Stand Arrow is very strong in Passione. Through the introduction test by Polpo, the Boss makes sure that almost all members become Stand users. This also explains the strong influence of the organization on Italy and its inhabitants. I would describe Golden Wind more as a side story that has little to do with the actual Joestar story. After Koichi's disappearance, only small cameos of known characters will appear. But don't worry, you'll still get a lot of enjoyment out of them. Next episode we will finally meet the remaining members of Bruno's gang. It will be quite a mess but I think you will love these idiots as much as I do. Now for today's fanarts: I think these things would happen if Gio didn't want to become a mafia boss but just wanted to have a good time with Koichi https://www.instagram.com/p/CMaDD_IFSJP/ Another cute Gio+ Jonathan+ Dio Comic: https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ64dkMFF_e/ This is depressing but at the same time so good for Gio´s Character: https://www.instagram.com/p/CJKA6c0FQo_/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CEYATvAlJ9Z/ This is also super wohlesome: https://www.instagram.com/p/CHggJZNlIup/ From next week on I can finally share with you all the super funny, sweet and also sad comics from whole the gang.I'm really looking forward to it.

I gotta call you out for complaining about having to wait a week to watch MULTIPLE episodes while some people have NOTHING new to watch and are simply having to wait. You’re basically the kid who’s pouting at Disneyland because the line is fifteen minutes long. You should probably, uh, what’s the word… SAVOR it a little more? The day IS going to come when you’re caught up and have nothing left! But I digress. 😆 Anyway, here we go again with the creepiness factor - gotta say having a Stand using the shadows reminded me of another show character - oh no, it’s an evil Ranga-like Stand! But you know it got me thinking… what would Araki think of a Stand that disguised itself as a reactor’s chair… and then when they say down it grabbed them and sucked them into another dimension? Enjoy sleeping tonight! 😉 I should point out it seems that it doesn’t matter if the Stand hits the physical body or the Stand itself - the target is effected - which means that Giorno got his neck pierced by the arrow. Was there anything gained by that? Koichi has thus way of stumbling into trouble without meaning to, doesn’t he? It’s sorta like Qrow and bad luck but instead it’s just utter coincidence that leads to crazy situations. Golden Experience’s Muda seems to be similar to Jotaro’s Hora. Hmm, I wonder how those two would get along. The tree was basically pushed through its lifespan in a matter of seconds so it would wither and snap so Black Sabbath would get completely exposed to sunlight. Koichi put together an extremely heartfelt monologue then realized he was over the time limit so went sightseeing. But all he said to Jotaro was “I’ll tell you in person,” regarding Giorno. It didn’t imply if he was leaving or Jotaro was coming - it’s a very open ended statement. Palpo got done in by his own words: insults are usually what cause the most strife and tension between people, but he unwittingly signed his own death warrant because Giorno felt Palpo had insulted his victim from earlier and he says “you taught me something important.” It’s okay to murder in the right circumstances. Giorno is equal parts Joestar and DIO and he’s definitely got traits of both of them. It’ll be interesting to find out more about this crew won’t it? Of course, it’s not like you have nothing else to watch between now and your next filming session… 😉

Hi Spadeas! :) Ohhhhh you did say that, you have to be ready for it! Thanks for reminding me! Right, they never really say more about the number of arrows. I can't wait to know the whole gang! Oooohhh I hear that Izuku and Bakugo show up, I have to listen for them!!!

kamenriderhime

I think you're right that this is a great way to show that Giorno is more comfortable with killing, violence, etc. for a couple of reasons...first because of the gang / mafia environment, and second because he does have Dio's genes too. But this was such a great way to show that, because you really can't be too upset over Polpo lol, he totally had it coming! That's crazy about the arrow, no wonder this gang is so powerful if they all have Stands! I wonder how they got a hold of the arrow?? Aww well I'll just be sure to really cherish any cameos that do come up! I have a feeling it will still be an amazing story! I can't wait to meet the others!!! OMG YAY THE FANART!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for this haha!!! 1 - this is soooo cute, I agree that if Giorno didn't have his current aspirations this is probably how it would have turned out lol. His Jonathan side is really coming out in this one! I love that Koichi mentioned the ice cream to Jotaro, because I'm sure it would make him think of Kakyoin!!! 2 - Awwwwwwwww!!!! I love this because as awful as it is to think of Dio taking Jonathan's body and then doing God knows what with it, I feel like creating a beautiful boy like Giorno would make Jonathan happy!!! 3 and 4 - OMG!!!!!!!!!! :'( So sad but beautiful!!!!!!! I don't know what kind of dad Dio would have been, but I know Jonathan will always be proud of Giorno!!! 5 - AHHHHHHH I'm tearing up!!!!! SOOO sweet, I honestly really hope he gets to know his new family, the Joestars aren't always perfect but they love their family!!!! Imagine finding out you're a Joestar??? I'd flip out haha!!! 6 - the song, OMG!!!!! It's definitely going on my playlist!!!! I can totally run to this!!! That piano part goes pretty hard too, wow!!!!!!!!! OMG I can't wait for fanart of the gang!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for blessing my day with these!!!!!! It truly means a lot, I always look forward to it!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

kamenriderhime

Lol I know, I'm just being greedy because I love this show so much! I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do when I'm caught up, I could die :O OMG NO you're right, it is like Ranga, only evil! If Araki ever makes a Stand like that, I hope it sucks me into a dimension where Jojo's is real and I have a cool Stand!!!! That's true, technically Giorno did get his neck pierced, hmmm?? LOL Koichi has Qrow's luck alright :P I really hope Jotaro and Giorno get to meet!!! Yup, that's what I gathered about the tree too, thanks for confirming. That's true about what Koichi said, maybe it was the translation but Jotaro's "I'll be waiting" made me think that Koichi was going home. I hope I'm wrong! Yeah, Polpo was defeated by his own principles in a way, since Giorno felt that taking the life of an innocent person was a grave insult. He for sure has some Dio, I'm seeing that now! I think he's still mostly a good boy though, my son :) I can't wait to get to know the crew!! True, I have lots of good stuff to watch in between, thankfully!!!!!!!!

2023-10-17 19:22:54 Hmmmn... He's able to turn himself into a bed... I wonder if he's the same type of alien Mikitaka is. xD If that's actually the case, then the fact that Polpo has a stand means that Mikitaka really *didn't* have a stand! He doesn't show up in All-Star Battle, so I'm not going to go deep into who had voiced Polpo before(I'm going over people who showed up in All-Star Battle). However there IS one bit of interesting trivia with Polpo's VA. He showed up in the PS2(Since it's just part 5), which is why Koichi is in the game! o: In the game, Polpo's voiced by Yūji Kishi who potrayed the Red Carranger from Super Sentai. He's also Ken Master's voice actor from the Street Fighter series, and was even in the Capcom Stardust Crusader game as N'Doul.

Dio being a part of his lineage definitely makes one wonder but same time it shouldn’t be all that we see in him and how he tackles things. I see that he’s different and not outwardly bad so I’m giving him benefit of the doubt. Because that goal of his is hard for anyone to achieve. It’s a dangerous world to begin with and he’s willing to climb to make his home better. We established he’s a bit different from the Joestars but still carries that good righteousness. I like to think even though he has that lineage, we can’t forget he’s also a Joestar. “Where man lives, effects how man lives”. He’s had his own influence aside from Dio, who he’s never known about. Italy’s a beautiful place but same time you have to know certain areas, his tough upbringing, and even the man who helped him was also working in the dark. So I can definitely think that Dio influence may be a factor whenever but I think it’s also cool that he’s his own man who had his other influences as well. I don’t think the bad in his life has taken over him, he just made room for it and holds his own morals. Killing is not right but I guess I can say he was thinking how Polpo was playing with peoples lives, and Giorno is going to get his hands dirty regardless. The quote about God forgiving even murder, tells me Giorno is still hoping to be forgiven by someone. It didn’t look like he personally enjoyed it. I think it’s a cool twist, you can see that side of his origin and it makes you think, but he also has his own code and wants to get to the top and make things far better. It’s not easy keeping your hands clean completely with what he’s trying to achieve.

kamenriderhime

Ohhhh hmm maybe!! Lol! WHOA, then Mikitaka really is an alien?!?! Confirmed?!?! Hehe! No kidding about the PS2 game!!! And we get bonus Koichi as a result! No kidding about his VA being from Super Sentai, we're really playing 6 degrees of Jojo with the game VAs at this point! Thanks for all the info!

kamenriderhime

That's the thing, like yes there's influence, but there's a whole lot more to Giorno! He has some different methods but his heart is in the right place. He really does have to adapt to his surroundings, what worked for the other Jojo's isn't gonna necessarily cut it when we're trying to get around the mob. That's a great way to put it, that the darkness around him has never overtaken him, he's got his own ideals that he's just had to fit into that world. I mean it's really not like Polpo didn't deserve it :p He's gotta get his hands dirty for sure, sadly, but it's for a good cause. Well said Manny!
