Hey everyone!  I'm BACK with more Spy x Family!  Here's my reaction to season 2, episode 1!  OMG!!!  Poor Yor, what a pain in the butt, am I right???  Also poor Loid, thinking he's floundering in his marriage!!  And OMG ANYA!!!!  What a boss she was in this!  making peanut bombs, confronting villains, etc.!  Our girl's really growing up!  God I love this show - the comedy of errors and everyone not knowing what the other is doing is just always executed so well!  So happy we're back with season 2!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Yay~ I'm a bit behind on SPY×FAMILY. I completed the first half of the first season, but I never finished the second half. I just recently bought a full set of E-book for vol. 1-11 manga of the same series. I never finish it as well, I'm somehow stucked on the major story arc of Yor. I'm in the situation where I'm not able to freely read or watch anime, but I hope so since I just bought it again. I just found another manga that caught my interest. It's like a story of a shop in the first village in the fantasy world, where it has became a peaceful world. Too peaceful, because the hero has defeated the demon lord, so that the adventurer don't need to go adventure again, and the shop is extremely running poor. I might looking into that series first, then go to SPY×FAMILY later.

Hi Hime :) I said it was a fant-ASS-tic episode hasn't I ? lol Oddly, the pain was gone when she was invited on a date ^^. Maybe something eased the pain at the time hehe. About the poison, with her cooking skill, Yor has to be immune, just like Yuri. I had already said it, but with her telepathy and what she learns from Loid and Yor, Anya could become the best spy/assassin in the world and we already have an example here. Unfortunately, despite her power, she's as good at reading people as Loid is good at reading Yor lol.

So, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings right off the bat… but according to My Anime List, and I double checked with another source… Season 2 is only going to be 12 episodes. It’s probably similar to what Demon Slayer did when they had way more time to make the first season, then it got popular so they could only make so much and get it out at a reasonable time. Loid as usual, has absolutely no idea what’s going on, but I’m not sure Yor should be discussing her personal agenda where she’s just “served her customers.” She’s ruthless, but she’s also a bit of a klutz. It adds to her charm, though! Loid and Yor going on a date? Of course there’s going to be something else going on, because you know these two can’t have a normal day. I got really amused when you said Frankie shouldn’t be laughing at Loid’s failures just as Anya is asking him if his personality sucks. Anya is single-handedly becoming the most dangerous character on the show despite her parents’ abilities - she might be a new version of R2-D2 - because she’s the only one who understands exactly what’s going on and is doing something about it. I actually said the same thing about her when you did… she’s turned this into a Home Alone movie. To be fair, this guy only got hit with peanuts though… and then he thought Anya was threatening to kill his girlfriend! I mean, after that exchange who wouldn’t be salty? 👀 I actually thought Yor drinking the blowfish poison would be just what she needed thirty seconds before it happened - but you know, I don’t think we should keep a bottle around the house either. Totally random… why is it when I’m looking at the penguin’s stitch marks I’m thinking of Geto from Jujutsu Kaisen right now? Uh, look, a distraction! Uhh Anya figure out why Melissa keeps having more plushies show up for no reason! /runs away

That was a cute start for this season. Yeah she legit saves the darn day and made someone rethink their life again. I think Loid and Yor’s influences are rubbing off on her. 🥜

Ohhhh ok! Thanks for the heads up! Crunchyroll said 26+ episodes but maybe I was looking at the wrong season. At least we have it for a few more months! LOL I love that Yor is absolutely lethal but also a bit clumsy and cute :P Hahahaha I know, I noticed that line from Anya after, perfect timing eh :P Seriously, Anya is reaching R2 levels for sure! HAHAHAH she Home Aloned it for sure! Yeah the peanut bomb is a lot more humane than what he was planning. And OMG the fact that she mentioned the gf and he thought it was a threat! Yeah no one needs to be keeping blowfish poison around the house especially when there's a child present, but it did the trick in this case. HAHAHAHAHAHA nooooo not the Geto neck stitches!!!!! I can't unsee it now!!! XD LOL let's get Detective Anya on the case of the numerous plushies :P
