Hey everyone!  I'm back with Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 11!  Oh wow, we're really getting to see our students show off here and it is awesome!  We find out what the backstory is behind the folks we met at the end of the last ep, and like anyone else, they're no match for Gojo.  But what they didn't know is how fast our Yuji and Fushiguro can think on their feet in a battle!!!  I was so proud of them!  It's also absolutely bonkers that we (sorta) have a certain someone back, at least his form anyway....that should make things interesting to say the least!!!!  What a great ep!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

As someone who’s read the manga.( don’t worry I won’t spoil it for you) I’m really really REALLY looking forward to the next few episodes now that a certain someone is back.

“I have no idea what’s going on here!” You know, at the rate this show is going, we should probably keep that quote on speed dial. Two things: first, I think watching the reaction is beneficial for me as far as understanding it a little better (this plot has almost too many balls in the air to follow at once sometimes), and two, am I the only one who feels we need like a companion guide for referencing everything? Like I said, it can get really complex. The barrier tactic of leaving yourself in a more vulnerable state seems rather similar to the practice of explaining your technique to your target in order to strengthen it. Ino seems to be the name of the ally that was fighting “Granny” and “Grandson.” So, apparently, she’s a medium, they can take powers of dead people, and… ngl I don’t remember what exactly Seance means. Hence the guide needing. There’s too many different kinds of attacks, lol! The wires that were being used at the start remind me of another character in one of my favorite shows, Akame Ga Kill (you should react to that sometime when slots open up if you haven’t seen it!) - I was just getting nostalgia. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t take Mustached Curse User too seriously… and this is why. I know the show was trying to be serious but my brain kept screaming EVIL WALUIGI! 😆 What can you do? By the way, Yuji and Fushiguro are becoming a good… tag team aren’t they? (We did that once already this week.) Speaking of which, what’s Kugisaki up to? I’d like to know what the relevance of the scene where the dad gets killed is - it might be just to explain the two curse users. But what if it isn’t? Gojo was so strong he could stop users literally by LOOKING at them, when he was a child. Also he only said one line, so I wondered if it was enough for you to pick up on… I’ll leave you with this for the weekend… if you didn’t have enough reason to like Gojo, his younger self’s VA voiced another white-haired kid you’re VERY familiar with. Yup, baby Gojo is the same seiyuu as Killua. THAT’S ALL FOLKS! 👀

Hi Hime :) I told you you'd hear a name that would make you say "huh?" Now, even though I read the manga, I don't remember everything 100%, so I couldn't tell you if this "Toji" has his memory or not. Logically it's a transformation via the call of a spirit, so we can assume that Toji is really there in person, for probably a certain condition passed by the medium (like a time limit or until my opponent is dead). But if that's the case, since we have the Zen'in patriarch and Megumi in the area, their interaction with Toji could be interesting. Kid Gojo, who resembles Killua in this passage, has the voice. It's the same voice actress who did Killua, who lent her voice for Kid Gojo here. But yes, Gojo is Gojo, super OP from a very young age. When we have characters of this caliber, it tends to reduce the “risks” for our heroes. You were comparing it to MHA, but imagine if All Might had been in perfect health during the series, if his condition had not worsened and if he had not had a time limit on his transformation, the series would have been very different. Same here, Gojo sealed is All Might no longer able to transform and forcing the students to progress to hold the balance. In any case, Yuji is going to make a name for himself. He begins by impressing Ino with his strength, Megumi says that keeping up with Yuji is harder than keeping up with his opponent and even the old man gets shivers seeing Yuji's strength (after he is thrown a car as if It was a baseball...). Yuji is borderline not human lol. I can't wait for you to find out what happens next, but also a little scared knowing what's coming.

I just thought these people were creepy because of there demeanor, but they’re freaking horrific. 😬 I thought that was very clever with the bunnies. Fushigoro said they aren’t really used for offense. Because the dude didn’t do anything while he was surrounded by them, it gave insight to his technique. I wish I could deduce stuff like that on the fly. They make it seem so effortless. 🐇 Okay the Toji thing, I don’t know how far that goes but he seems to have his strength. One punch and it seemed like Ino was already out. I hope that wasn’t it for him. He seems like a cool dude with a good heart.

Omg I know right! Wasn't that clever? I'm so proud of them! Seriously, I love how these characters can just think so fast, I could never either lol. I can barely keep up with the subtitles :P Yeah I'm not sure how far this is gonna go with Toji, but I'm curious! I know, I hope Ino's gonna be okay!!!!

kamenriderhime

Hi Spadeas! :) OMG that was the name, woooowww it makes sense now haha! Interesting, so that actually is Toji then, in a manner of speaking. Oh you're right, we'll get to see some interesting interaction between the older Zen'in and Toji! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! No kidding, that's my son's voice?!?!?! It makes sense, they have a similar look lol! Very true about reducing all the risk with a character this OP. It's very similar to All Might, including everyone else having to step up in his absence. Yuji throwing the car was just insane!!!! He's for real gonna be a huge contender for one of the top sorcerer spots if you ask me. Ohhhhhh I've been scared this whole season, but I can't wait!!!

kamenriderhime

Hahaha that quote pretty much sums up where I live :P I'm glad watching with me helps cement some of the details! I feel the same way about the feedback I get from you guys! It is a similar technique, I noticed that. Thanks for the name info and for clearing up Granny's powers. I know what an actual seance is but in terms of the show I don't remember either if they said it at one point! I assumed it was new info :P Oooh I've heard of Akame Ga Kill! HAHAHAHAHAHAAH omg I cannot unsee Waluigi now, omg!!!! Oh yeah we've had lots of tag team action this week, haven't we? Yeah I was wondering about the dad scene too. Yeah Gojo was OP even as a kid!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe baby Gojo is voiced by MY SON!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes me so happy!!!!! XD XD XD

Hello Melissa, I finally got around to checking out your reaction. This episode was really great. I'm pretty impressed with the teamwork of Yuji and Megumi against the crafty old man. It took them a while to figure out his ability as the fight went nowhere, but once Megumi figured out a countermeasure, their fight was as good as won. Yuji ended the fight by stopping his punch with an inch to spare, causing the old man to drop his guard before Yuji picked up the speed of the punch to end the fight =). As for Ino, his skills looked pretty impressive and he put up a good fight. Unfortunately for him, the old granny's incantations and her grandson's plan worked, turning him into Toji of all people. As a result, Ino's chances of winning the fight, as we saw, went straight to zero. I can only hope he's still alive, poor guy.... =( I really got goosebumps when the grandson's voice became Dio's "cough" sorry, Toji's voice. i can't wait for the next episode.

kamenriderhime

Hey Bellana!!! Yay! I know, it was a great ep and so fun to see their team work! What an awesome strategy to win the fight, it was great to watch! I know, poor Ino!!! Yikes, I hope he's ok :/ Hahahaha you know all we're gonna be able to hear is Dio any time he talks!!! :P I can't wait either!!!
