Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 4, episode 26!!! Oh man, this one gave me Hunter x Hunter vibes for sure!!!  What a great Rohan episode too - I feel like I'm sizing him up more and more.  The back and forth on this one was crazy!!!  Janken Boy was definitely wore on my nerves but at the end of the day, I guess he just really looked up to Rohan.  It was cool that after their battle, Rohan saved him and they had some mutual respect for each other!!  Also, THE BABY saving the day was SO out of the blue hahaha!!!  I hope they found the baby though!!!  Great ep!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Having his stand reference Boyz 2 Men is so perfect because he is clearly trying to prove himself and mature into adulthood on his own terms. Most people don't learn by defeating their enemies in janken and then absorbing their essence through a hole in their cheek. Then again, beggars can't be choosers.

First comes rock… then comes paper… JA-JANKEN! No, I clearly can’t see any Hunter x Hunter vibes here. While we’re on that subject did it ever strike you how similar Josuke and Knuckle’s designs look? Also, the whole episode - not much to analyze but it’s really just one big mental game - you think I’ll do THIS - but I’ll actually do THIS - or I could tell you exactly what I’m doing - but I could be lying… “There’s a Polaroid flying around with a ghost in it riding a bird…” File under “it’s Jojo.” For instance you may have stopped what you thought was the preview this week… forgetting that there WAS no preview to begin with… but you were worried there MIGHT be… so you didn’t look… but it was safe… even though we told you it was… you never knew if we were telling the truth…!” You know what, just typing that paragraph is enough to cause needless anxiety. 😅 Moving on!

I definitely got a better feel for Rohan here. I also really dug him in his first appearance. I got a more of a feel for his personality when he and Koichi met Reimi. Now I definitely understand him, and he may be my spirit animal. I loved that “No, beating a brat is the best feeling there is” line. I’m sorry but sometimes you gotta let ‘em have it 😆 He’s hard to put into words. He’s a petty, dramatic mangaka. Well that’ll cover the base actually 🤔 but overall he’s an intellectual as well who’s very entertaining & a quick learned stand user. I knew he’d help in taking down Kira but seeing him trying to search for the killer in the beginning really says something. I’m very glad I have a better grasp now cause I still had questions about his thought process, personality and what he thinks of people outside Koichi; and now I know. ✍️

2023-08-29 20:15:31 Hahahaha it's literally all I could think of! You know if I'd watched Jojo first, I'd come to that part in HxH and be screaming "Jojo reference" too lol. OMG YES, it's honestly like the first thing I noticed. Funny story, the other day I posted a HxH reaction on YouTube with Knuckle as the thumbnail, and I kept catching a glance of it thinking I'd accidentally edited a Part 4 Jojo ep for YouTube by accident :P I also believe that Knuckle's VA is Okuyasu's VA! Omg it seriously is one big mental game, I think my IQ went up a few points just by watching it. And then the polaroid/bird moment happened :P Hahahaha we're gonna file that one under "It's Jojo" for sure! Hahahaha omg don't try to trap me in mental games about the previews!!! You know I get too confused!!! >.<

I know right, we're really getting to know him now! Hahaha I love that he's your spirit animal!! LOL I think you pretty much summed him up there! Petty and dramatic are two big hallmarks for sure. But yeah, he's smart and has his own pretty high standards as well. Yeah the fact that he's out doing some independent research on the whole Kira thing is awesome. I loved seeing him and Joseph interact, two very entertaining and brilliant characters right there! It was so nice to be able to get a better grasp on his character outside of his interactions with Koichi, I agree!!
