Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 4, episode 22!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!  You guys, that was just absolutely gut wrenching and brutal!!!  He was just a little boy....he didn't deserve that....no one deserves that!  And to have to watch his soul too, ugh.  To think that Reimi sees that all the time and can't do anything about it!!!  You guys, I couldn't be happier that we assembled the whole squad for this!!!  There's nothing I want more than to see Shigechi avenged!!!  I also honestly can't believe that the Cinderella ep was originally supposed to be after this one lol, dang.  Let's go catch this guy already!!!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hello Melissa, first of, happy Jojo Monday (although it is not such a pleasant Monday) and I wanted to let you know that I would love it if you made a Jojo theory video. I'm dying to know what absurd theories are keeping you up at night. I'm really interested in your personal opinion on each Jojo episode, so I really appreciate your long intros and outros on each Reaction.❤️🥰 The two episodes really have everything you want from a good anime episode. As you said, the chase around a sandwich is pretty funny, but Jojo manages to make it super nerve-wracking and fun at the same time. I really have to admit that Kira scares me more than Dio and Kars. Sure they were very scary and strong opponents for our Jojos in their final fight but Kira has such a creepy and at the same time scary calm aura. Kars and Dio were both very extroverted and always the center of attention. But Kira is always in the background which makes him very hard to judge. When Kira so calmly tells his life story and monotonously tells Shigechi that he will also kill his family, I always feel sick to my stomach. How can a person be like that to a child? That he lives out his hand fetish in public doesn't make it any better. On top of that, his stand Killer Queen has such a scary design, which is really pretty cool. Actually I should be happy about the design, because I love cats, but when I know that Killer Queen is super strong and can turn everything into a bomb I am not so happy anymore 😂😭. Shigechi's death is so unfair. He was only 13 years old and still had his whole life ahead of him. I don't even want to imagine how his parents must feel when their beloved child suddenly disappears forever without a trace. The saddest thing about Shigechi's death to me is, that unlike previous characters, he wasn't a hero full of justice who went to the battlefield knowing he could die. He wasn't the Baron Zeppeli ready to fulfill the prophecy and face his awful fate. He wasn't Caesar ready to avenge his ancestors and save everyone from the Pillar Men. He wasn't Kakyoin ready to fight DIO, surpass his fears and protect his friends. He was just a middle schooler, who in his last moments, wanted to protect his mom and dad. But he did not die for nothing. The special thing about the deaths is Jojo is that they happen for a reason which is always important for the story. This means that the deaths are never pointless, have an even stronger effect on the viewer and make the dead character even more important. Like Baron Zeppeli, Jonathan, Caesar, Avdol, Iggy and Kakyoin before him, Shigechi also helped his friends through his death. Although we only knew him for 2 episodes, I still shed a lot of tears in this episode. This shows how good Araki's writing is. In this episode, we also saw the real villains of this part. They are the 3 girls who, firstly, threw Shigechi with a ball and then didn't even come to help, although they saw that he was very badly injured.😡 One note I also wanted to make is, that each bomb from Killer Queen explodes quietly. That's why no one noticed that Shigechi died. Only for the anime they added sound to the explosion, to make the scenes understandable for the viewer. The bombs completely erase their victim from existence. Which is the perfect ability for a killer like kira. Leaves no trace behind. It's crazy cuz even if kira gets outmatched in all stats he still has a one shot move on pretty much everyone. Today's fanart fits this episode very well. I do think I should point out the irony that Shigechi was blown up initially by a piece of money. Considering how bad his greed has been to this point, it took something like that to make him realize what was really valuable. The reason Kira is shucked on hearing Reimi’s name is because he thought (correctly) he had a clean kill. What he wasn’t counting on is her soul still being tethered and able to communicate. Also her demeanor kinda fits yours, so I can see how the costume works, especially with the headband. Okay, the more I think about this, the more sure I am that Kira is a Death Note reference - think about it, his Stand is able to use any means to Jill someone, without a trace, and remotely. And nobody else is being the wiser. He can do whatever he wants to whomever he wants, at his leisure, and just tries to keep a low profile. Also, the name is a… dead giveaway. “Don’t play the morning radio music after brutally murdering a child!” Well, you’re the one who called this your comfort show. We did try to stop you. 😂 Now I haven’t seen the other two yet, so this may be addressed but at this point… nobody has Kira’s name yet. The tailor was looking at the tag and saying “how do you read this?” Koichi tried to look but chaos broke loose before he could see it. Also, if Koichi’s VA went and pulled out a couple of his other character roles from different shows this story might end a lot faster… 😌 Boy, that ending was explosive… I guess you could say it PUSHED THE RIGHT BUTTONS? 🙃

RIP Shigechi :/ he was a little $h17 sometimes but he was a good kid. I cannot believe that people saw that kid bleeding out and no one helped. But he was able to get Kira in the end to try to help stop him! Now that we’re fully into “Kira is the main villain” mode, I think it’s interesting how smaller scale the threat of Kira is compared to the previous villains. Smaller scale in that it’s contained to this small town and all he wants is to live his life. Compared to globe trotting adventures and seeking immortality. And despite all that, Kira seems much more menacing to me. And yes, I’d definitely be down for a separate theories video!! Just let us know how you want us to engage with that :)

Nooooooooo! Damn it! He really was just a kid. Damn! There’s something about that child-like manner that makes this so much worse. He had his stingy tendency but he also met two other stingy boobs with good hearts to stick with. It was so hard seeing him on the ground crawling and giving it his all to reach Jousuke. And not just reach him but trying to reach him for his parents and this town. Like Remie he also hated the idea of a murderer ruining his town, its killing me right now knowing he would have been another “disappearance” but he was smart and strong little guy. He gave us a strong chance! Ugh I’m so bsbghhsbs!!! It wasn’t just the brutality that made it hurt to witness but the fear and the look he had during his final moment; That really brought me to tears. I’m effin pissed. I’m thinking of the first time he got really emotional being complimented by Josuke and Okuyasu. It wasn’t even long ago but to think his strength to reach them, even in fear, is what brought all these characters together. I need this mother edger to go down NOW. Man even for Kakyoin’s death it took some time after to think about the people back home he’s left behind. But this one you could feel the wrongness immediately. It really is teetering between the usual mad and sad. I’m so sorry Shigechi you were so awesome. And hands down to the best damn stand ever little dude. ✌️😢

I know!!!!!!!!! He had his moments lol but he was just a baby!!! Seriously, I can't get over the kids who just wouldn't help, what the heck! I mean, that's the thing - Kira's wants are pretty small compared to other villains we've seen, yet somehow his whole presence is even more chilling. Oh yay!!!!!! I'm glad you'd like a theory video! Hmm, I'll definitely make some suggestions on how much I actually want confirmed lol. I know it's kinda risky to put out a bunch of info on my mind and expect everyone to not say anything spoilery, but you guys are always pretty cool about that so I'm not worried!!

I know!!!!!!! It's just awful!!! And yes, the fact that he's so childlike just adds insult to injury. I know, he wasn't a perfect kid but there was still a lot to love, and he'd just found some friends!! Ugggghhh him not being able to reach out to Josuke was just soooo heartbreaking! And trying to protect his parents and the town in the process too :(((( He was so smart and strong, he made sure he made it count!!!! He gave us so much with his final act on this earth!!! I know, just to see how visceral that whole death scene was just made it so much worse!!!! I totally get the mix of anger and sadness!!! Omg I know, he was so happy to meet people who liked him! That's the thing, he was a scared little boy and STILL had the strength to do all that!!!! Seriously, I want this little guy avenged like yesterday!! That's the thing, this hit even faster didn't it??? Bellana made a good point in her comment here and that's that Shigechi wasn't determined to fight, he hadn't made up his mind to fight or die trying or anything, he was literally just a little boy who didn't want his family or town to get hurt. :((( Seriously, he was the best!!!!!!!!!!!

He was just a baby!!! So chilling! I think this is the part where Araki really come into his own as a writer. Yes please do! I definitely spoil anything but I’d like to be able to say more than “they’re very interesting theories….but I can’t say anything else” hahaha

He was!!! :(((( I think you're right about Araki's writing here, it's so layered and well done! YAY!! Hahaha I know, it's gonna be tough not to be able to like really discuss it! But like I said, you guys are always pretty solid on not giving too much away, so I think it'll be fine!!!
