Hey everyone!  I'm back with Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 2!  Oh man, we get to see even more young Gojo and Geto in action in this one, not to mention we get to know Riko!  It's interesting how they're handling this whole Star Plasma thing.  And getting to see Gojo doing some fighting back before he, erm, maybe perfected all of his techniques was fun!  Plus we had a doggy in this ep!  Wow there are a lot of people after this girl, and chief among them is Fushiguro's dad.  Curious to see where it's all going!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

“Oh, look, someone’s making tea. This is nice.” Me: “You do realize what show we’re on here.” Oh while you’re throwing out Star Trek references I will point out the name of one of the organizations is literally “Q.” It was RIGHT THERE for you to reach out and grab! 😂 I’m not sure why Fushigaro Sr. Is in the position he’s in at the moment, I get a little hazy on the details. (This particular anime has a ton of moving parts so it’s hard to keep them all straight 100% of the time.) As far as him not recognizing Megumi’s name I can think of a couple reasons: he’s either a deadbeat, he has no knowledge of his child (not implausible - it’s not like he’s the one who has to give birth), or the other option is he literally forgot. Boy we’re getting a lot of superb parents this week aren’t we? Riko seems to be not just willing for the assimilation but more than okay with it… the way she described it, it almost seemed like she was viewing it as a sort of arranged marriage. But she seems fully conscious of what’s supposed to happen to her - but I’m, there have been a few variables pushed into the equation. I’m going to only say this once and let it reverberate… who let Gojo loose in a missionary school for girls? I get the feeling if things get too out of hand there might be a few vows being renounced, if you know what I mean… 👀 Meanwhile Riko is learning first hand the level of chaos that occurs with and around Gojo. Oh, funny fact, I went in a public restroom today and the soap dispenser brand literally said Gojo. Coincidence? 🤔 Kuroi (the maid) can hold her own too, seems she took down the paper bag guy with a mop. But how’d she get kidnapped then? The only other person we saw around her was… Geto… 👀 Oh, regarding the after credits, it seems more like it’s just witty banter than a preview so far, this week it was Gojo and Geto pestering Kuroi about what her age was. It doesn’t seem like they’re showing or talking about the next episode much other than announcing the title, at least that’s how I read it.

Hi Hime :) Not much to say, the episode speaks for itself and serves mainly as a set-up for what comes later. But just for your information, this event happens in 2005. Gojo and Geto are 16 years old during this flashback and Megumi is 3 years old. So Toji (Megumi's father) normally knows his son, but there's some reason behind his "who's that" if I remember correctly.

Okay I was leaning towards Gojo at the end there but Kuroi was, in my opinion, the coolest character in this episode. She mopped the floor with that clone 🧹 🥋

Hi Spadeas! :) Ohhh ok cool, I had a feeling it wasn't too long ago, because they're talking about texting and the internet! But that's further back than I thought it was! Thanks for clarifying! Ohhh ok, I was wondering what they were getting at with Toji. Like were they trying to say he's just neglectful, or something else? Guess I'll find out soon!!! :D

How on earth did I miss an obvious opportunity like Q! >.< From the sound of other comments, it sounds like there is a reason for Toji not remembering that will be explained later! Yeah the parenting in my shows lately has been quite the crap show hahaha. I could see the similarities to a sort of arranged marriage, just a much more extreme version. Her perspective on it all is very interesting. HAHAHAHAHAH seriously, like you realize you just threw prime steak into a den of starving animals right?!!?!? :P I think you might be right about the vows lol! WHOA, does the Gojo clan make soap dispensers on top of all their jujutsu stuff?? Freaky! I didn't realize the maid's name right away but yes, Kuroi is awesome! That's the thing, like Geto was with her so....how did she get kidnapped..... :O Oh cool, thanks for letting me know about the after credits, I'll just let it play then! Thanks :D

The art used for comedic effects is just too good, it fits it perfectly and it flows really well with the action, which is the thing I appreciate the most about JJK. We also got to see more of Riko which is great, she's nice but also the focus on this arc so gotta look out for her. The teacher trying to give Gojo her number is like every fangirl out there (Including me, I guess.) But Gojo sure has infinite charm. Maybe one of his curse techniques? Yeah everything is a Jojo reference. Even breathing is a Jojo reference (reference to Hamon). It´s very interesting to find things related to Jojo in everyday life. I love every reaction from you and I speak from experience. I've rewatched each of your Clone Wars and Vinland saga reactions and thought they were all great.
