Hey everyone! I'm back with season 2, episode 7 of Legend of Vox Machina!  Oh dang, what an adventure we had in this one!  Percy geeking out over the fey realm, a weird trip for Vex and Key'leth, and Grog...!!!  I'm just glad that nasty sword is out of the picture!!!  Also, Trinket's voice LOL!!!!  Our new friend is quite colorful as well, to say the least.  And now, we're at Vex and Vax's old home?!  This should be interesting!  Cannot wait for more!  Great ep - enjoy!  ~ MH

“That last episode made an impression.” Yeah, right in Pike’s gut. 😆 Why do they kick you while you’re down? Because it’s a D&D campaign, who’s gonna watch the show if nothing’s happening to the players? Now that being said, stop and think about the fact that the DM is coming up with all this wacky scenario stuff on the fly by himself! Pretty impressive. “We just have to think positive and have no negative emotions to get through this grass!” Me: “Great, it’s a forest of Grimm.” It does seem like Vax’s “encounter” with the Matron of Ravens has altered the way the world perceived him…? Meanwhile, Vax and Keyleth are having a Jinx-like experience (I’m just full of references to other shows today). “How are we gonna fix the hole in Pike’s gut?” “I rolled a nat 20.” Oh. That’s all we needed? Medical stuff in D&D do be like that sometimes… Grog had his own Frodo moment with Craven’s Edge but he was finally able to give up the sword, and now, for a limited time, you can get your very own inflatable Grog! The drawings though… I feel like I speak for everyone when I say in a certain tone, “THIS IS FILTH… FILTH!!!” I’ll return later. 😉

Okay Pikes good. Thank goodness! I stated how the dragons seeking riches made them more of a threat simply because, to me, it showed they could take control. No one was telling them to do anything. They just worked together to rule. But seeing one only wanting treasures is making me rescind that thought a bit. It might give the group an advantage.

Yay! I know! Yeah that's what I was thinking too - the dragons working together is bad news, but if there's a little brewing conflict, that could be really good for our crew!

Ahhhhhh no too soon!!! :O Haha! Lol that's true, it wouldn't be a very interesting show or game otherwise I suppose! OMG I came this close to making a Grimm reference! Yeah something about Vax has been changed on like, a spiritual level. Hahahaha it was totally a Jinx-ish experience! Ohhhh nat 20 is the best medicine for a gut hole, I hear! Grog stayed strong except....for...well....you know...not staying "strong" :/ Poor Grog lol! Hahahahha Ruby's immortal words fit well here!!!! XD

So not-really-fun fact: the green bird that was torn up at the beginning was based off Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray’s own bird Dagon. They thought it would be a funny little Easter egg, and then Daon unfortunately died during production. Pike and Scanlan’s song is so funny, cause the phrase “making my way” from A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton has become a meme among the cast and fans, so when I heard that part I was cracking up. The stuff on the Grog side was really interesting, cause most of what’s happening with those 3 is completely original, since originally all of them went to the Fey realm. They did destroy Craven Edge, but I don’t believe it sapped Grog’s strength in the game, at least not that I remember.

Awwww that's too bad!!! :((( I'm so sorry!!! No kidding, I love that song and love that it's referenced so much during the game! Oh no kidding about all the original Grog stuff!!! It's interesting to note the differences!
