Hey everyone!  I'm back with Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 1!  WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!  No one told me this was gonna be a prequel!!!!  I was shocked lol!  I cannot WAIT to see high school Gojo and co.!  Seeing him and Geto and this age should prove really interesting too, especially since their roles appear to be reversed here at this point in time.  We've got an interesting sounding mission and teenage versions of everyone on the case - this is gonna be one heck of a ride!!!!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Before even looking at your reaction, from what I heard, this season will be 23 episodes distributed as such: 1-5: Flashback 6: Movie recap 7: Season 1 recap 8-23: The continuation of season 1

Shoko is the doctor sorcerer that was in the scene where Yuuji was "dead" on the table. She seems to be medically inclined. :)

This season promises to be more cinematic, because Mappa had experience on Chainsawman which was already a lot. So you may have a slightly different atmosphere, but this first episode was already very generous in idea and well thought out framing. I told you after the film, that you learn more about Gojo and Geto before the events of the film and especially how their mentality was before. I already knew that there would all be an arc on the past so here it is ^^. Shoko is the nurse in case you didn't make the connection. We certainly haven't seen her fight, but she's also a jujutsu sorcerer since she's in Gojo and Geto's class. Probably more specialized in regeneration and inversion spells (the kind of spell Sukuna uses to regenerate Yuji's body for example). You had also met Mei and Utahime in season 1, they were both there during the exchange, since Utahime was the supervisor of the Kyoto team. But since you talk about it in your reaction, you must have recognized them. It's still funny to see that Mei hasn't changed, that the relationship between Utahime and Gojo was already like that but also Utahime and Shoko together. The reference to Digimon almost made me pause. We can say "what the F?" with Gojo's comparison, but it's pretty accurate. And yes, he is Megumi Fushiguro's father, I told you that you would learn why Megumi is part of the Zen'in without having the name. You'll see more about him later as you can imagine, they weren't going to introduce a character who looks badass with DIO's voice without doing something about it lol.

Welcome to Jujutsu Kaisen: First Class? (Cheesy knock off line but someone had to do it.) I hate to start off things right away with comparisons and references, but a little reminder that the VA for Utahime Iori, is also the Japanese dub performer (and original VA for Ice Queendom) for Weiss Schnee. Why is this relevant? Well, we’ve got her going down a long hallway and coming back on the other side of the screen several times… it’s a good thing she didn’t throw a rock… 😂 You mentioned getting dragged through the mud because you’re going to start liking a character with Geto even though you know where they’re ending up… one time is an accident, two is a pattern. Have you learned nothing from Clone Wars? 🤭 It seems Gojo was always a bit of a “troublemaker” even when he was still a student. No wonder his peers get so agitated by his antics. It appears that Tengen is not so much absorbing as possessing the body of the so-called Star Plasma Vessel, but there’s also a moral conundrum possibly in play here: does she have a will of her own, does she get a say in what happens to her? And why do I get the feeling this is gonna get complicated? (Btw regarding this subject, Oscar Pine is holding on Line 2.) I couldn’t really tell if the post preview was really a preview or not on first viewing. It might be okay, but I’m not sure. We don’t have the Juju Stroll to help us figure out what’s really happening and what isn’t. Guess we’ll have to keep going.

Hi Melissa, I hope you are as excited for Jjk Season 2 as I am. The movie really woke up the hype in me again.💖 I really had to stop myself from watching the episode beforehand because the episode was leaked on Wednesday. But I really don't think that's okay. the animation studios put so much work into their projects that are then used by strangers for their purposes. From the trailers I already knew that the first episodes deal with Gojo's youth. I am very excited to learn more about him and Geto. I'm also very excited about Toji, Megumi's father. Many fans think he is a very strong character. In addition, he is spoken by Dios Voiceactor. More hype✊. By the way, my Gojo figure has arrived. Unfortunately, it is not the same as yours, as it was not available in Germany. But mine is 25 cm tall and of good quality. He is now standing next to my Joseph Jostar figure. I think the two would get along very well 😆.

Very exciting start! And don’t worry, I’m also getting the gist of things. Sometimes it takes me awhile to understand the explanations. I applaud you doing this in one go. I had to backtrack and reread what was being said to be sure. We’re on the same page here 👌 It’s really cool and cute seeing everyone in their younger days. I’m not gonna I love Gojo of-course but I have to agree with young Geto here. He can be pretty full of himself. Rightfully so but still, some humility goes along way. I can’t imagine how this ☝️ turn into what it’s become. Geto does seem likable, so I’m wondering what went wrong. He knew the ugliness, especially with his ability shown here but says he still wanted to save others. And that’s a gnarly ability having to consume them. I’m aching to see how this all went down. I'm really liking the animation here! I can see how Mappa has gotten even better! Yeah I think I got the gist fairly well! Yeah you weren't kidding about getting to know the Gojo/Geto friendship more, wow!!! So cool :D Thanks for clearing that up about Shoko! I didn't make that connection, but I knew Mei and Utahime! Mei hasn't changed a bit lol! I don't remember Utahime and Shoko being shown together in season 1 so that was fun! HAHAHAHA was that what he was referencing?! I've never seen Digimon but I knew he was referencing something! LOL!! So random, Gojo is the best! Wow, so we're gonna get to know his dad! OMG no way!!! I have to go listen again so that I can hear his voice!! Dio's VA is everywhere, dang! OMG I love Zamber and Aliciaxlife!!! Hahahaha I can see why they were into Mei! And I mean, everyone loves Gojo :P Hahah thanks for sharing, I need to go check out their reactions!!! ^_^ And thanks for all the info!

HAHAHAHAHAHA omg!!!! It's totally First Class :P Oh no kidding about Utahime's VA!!! Nice! Ohhhh yeah that does put a different spin on the hallway scene doesn't it haha. OMG, I came THIS CLOSE to saying "this is Clone Wars all over again" hahaha!! Yeah Gojo's always had that Gojo-ness about him I guess. Yeah I mean, this whole Star Plasma vessel thing opens up TONS of ethical questions. I wonder if any of the moral dilemmas we deal with here will influence how people treat the whole Sukuna-vessel situation with Yuji later on. Hahahaha poor Oscar :P Oh ok, I played it safe just in case it was a preview. I miss Jojo Sanpo!!! Here we go!!

Hey Bellana!!! Yay!!!! I'm definitely hyped up again after the movie, my rewatch, etc.!!! XD Ohhh that's a shame that it was leaked! :( I had a feeling there was probably some background info floating around on what they would be covering this season - I stayed away from all of it! OMG!!! I can't believe that's Dio!!! :O Just another reason to be hyped haha. Oh, I was gonna ask if you'd gotten your Gojo yet!! Aww that's ok, I'm sure it's a really cool figure! That's great that it's a nice size / quality! Awwww he and Joseph are friends!!! OMG there's a crossover that we need right?! :P By the way, I got the cutest little Joseph figure for my desk, I'm gonna show him off in my next Jojo reaction!! (Not the ones coming this Monday, because I'd already filmed it before he arrived.) I think you're gonna like him!!!! ^_^

It can be tough doing it in one go sometimes, fortunately I have you guys to correct me if I misunderstood anything! ^_^ I love the younger days! Isn't it interesting to see Geto too? Yeah he's got a point about Gojo, much as I love him. Something tells me they're both gonna go through some changes here! Right?! That's such a great point actually - he knew just how awful it could get, yet he had firmly made the decision here to protect others. So what happened?? Guess we'll find out! Yay!!! Yay!!! I really Love that you now have a Joseph Figuren for yourself. I can Not wait to see it. 🥰 maybe when you finish jojo you can own a figure of each jojo. I mean they all belong to one family and it would be a shame if they were separated from each other. Only kidding you don't have to do that of course.😉 I agree that a jjk and jjba crossover would be cool. I would like to know how the characters would react if they find Out that they Share the same voice actor. In Part 5 there are many characters that have the voices of well-known Jjk characters.🤣

Yay!!! Aww thank you! Can you believe it - it was actually a gift!! Because I won't shut up about Jojo in my personal life lol, now everyone knows I love it!!! XD I would love to have a figure of each Jojo!!! I have my eye on so many different figures from SDC right now too haha. Lol I totally see that reasoning, it wouldn't be right to keep the family split up right?!?! XD A crossover would be so cool!!! The voice issue would be so much fun to deal with wouldn't it?? Oh wow, I can't wait to meet even more voices later on who have also been on JJK!!!!! :O So much to look forward to haha!!

That's very sweet from the person who gave you the gift. I've been annoying my family with Jojo for almost three years that they can't even hear it anymore 🫣. They also don't really understand why I put so much money into Jojo Merch. If I'm really honest, I've spent about 250 euros on it so far.😅. Also, most of my room is covered with Jojo and Vinland Saga posters. But I see you also have a lot of anime merch. I really like your mha merch.

Aww thanks, and I think my family/friends are probably feeling very much the same just over the past year or so haha!! XD I looked up the USD equivalent and I've gotta say, that's actually not too bad for merch! Some of this merch can get pricey....like the bigger/more expensive figures might be that price for one or two figures alone! :O It's nice to have a hobby and something you love/collect! ^_^ So cool that you've decked out your room! I bet you have lots of cool stuff! Aww thank you, I've been collecting MHA stuff for a few years now! There's actually more around the room that you can't see in the videos too, sometime I should do a room tour video! ^_^
