Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 2, episode 15 of The Bad Batch! Oh dang!  We're off on a risky mission here, which is going not that terribly until a certain someone shows up...!!!  Happy as I am to have the cameo, dang did he mess things up here lol.  And the worst pat is, all those high ranking officers are gonna be just fine, so it didn't even matter!  Guess we'll find out how our gang gets out of this one! Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

The summit members are : Hurst Romodi, who features in Rogue One and A New Hope; Barton Coburn served with Plo Koon durin the war and was seen in several Clone Wars episodes, including The Citadel arc where we first meet your beloved Tarkin! Finally along with Hemlock and Tarkin, we have Krennec who was the main bad guy from Rogue One and is working on Project Stardust building the Death Star around Geonosis at this time. Our crew are getting the job done and have infiltrated Tarkin's compound without too much effort, and Omega showing she'd be a master at hide-and-seek as she plants the tracker on Hemlock's shuttle; however Saw as usual, throws a grenade into all their plans! It all kicks off and the whole compound is alerted forcing our crew and Saw's team to run for it. Saw is not afraid of taking big chances and going straight after top imperials, however he is always short-sighted, getting small gains but never really putting a huge dent in imperial operations. He does become a real annoyance to the Empire over the next 17 years or so until A New Hope; but ironically ends up being killed by the very people in Tarkin and Krennec here he is looking to take out, when they come for him at Jedha and blow up the city as a test-fire for the Death Star. Back to this episode, things just get from bad to worse as the tracker gets lost due to Saw's plan, and our crew are seriously up against it on the railtrack as the episode ends. All is currently lost, the Bad Batch just need to get out of dodge for their own safety. When this two-parter aired, I expected that the first episode was going to be the crew getting the tracker without too much hassle, and into the finale we'd have drama as they'd try to infiltrate Mount Tantiss to get Crosshair; but they pulled the rug from under us, there will be no rescuing Crosshair and our crew just have to somehow get out of there.

I think I might’ve picked on something with the intro but I’m not 100% positive… the helmets they show, I’m thinking the color of lightsaber changes based on which side the helmet is on. Also you’re very punny today - I’m starting to worry you’ve been Yanging around us too much. You need to stop saying things before episodes like “I think we should do this…!” Because as soon as you said, we need to keep Omega away from the Empire the show was like “we’re gonna take everyone on a visit to Tarkin!” It can hear you… Is Phee kind of taking the Mom role for the crew? She kinda seems to be. It’s kind of interesting that even though the Empire’s ideal is one directive you’re already seeing the splits in opinion even this early. People who spent more time around the clones are more sympathetic to them. Tarkin’s not wrong about the Jedi being a big influence on their individuality, either. But you know, we can’t have that. Oh… there’s no point trying to reason with Saw about something you want unless it’s something he wants, and he’s not a great strategist. He just is kind of like a bull in a China shop, and you just kind of have to aim him in the proper direction, but even then there’s no telling what will happen. Oh, man, don’t you hate it when you’re riding the ski lift or the Disneyland ride and it stops with you halfway across? 😂 Also, two questions… what’s Project Star Dust and who was Saw’s accomplice? Hmm… I should move on.

Ohhhhh no kidding about the intro, that's so cool!!! I never noticed!! Hahaha I like to have pun with it :P I'm starting to think that maybe the show can hear me....you'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now! I can see Phee momming our crew a bit! That's a great point about there being lots of different opinions this early on when the Empire is supposed to be a united front on everything. Haha I know, Saw can't really be reasoned with!!! He just does Saw :P Ahhhhhh I have to say Disney was not encouraging people to do the skylift on this one hahaha!! Right, I was wondering that about Stardust too! And his accomplice! Hmmm!! Next season perhaps?

Oh I knew there were probably familiar faces in there! Thanks for letting me know! SO interesting. Saw for sure threw a grenade right at our plans, dang it! That's rather ironic that the people who take Saw out are the same ones he was trying to take out here - I hadn't thought about that! Right, that's what I expected too! Who saw it coming!!! :O

Project Stardust is the Death Star, and Krennec and Tarkin but heads about it in Rogue One. That's a long way off from this time though

Ohhhh sorry, I thought it sounded familiar! Yeah that's set a while in the future from now! Thanks :D
