Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Demon Slayer season 3, episode 8!!!  WOW, what is it with sad brother stories this season?!!?!  Another tragic back story, and this time it's about Tokito.  It explains a lot about what's going on with him present day, and I have to say, I think these unlocked memories are gonna help him a lot!  Also WHAT THE HECK is this face mark thing all about!!!  I just feel it in my bones that there's similarities, if not some kind of direct relation, to Tanjiro and his family!  I guess we'll find out!  Wow, he is unstoppable with that new sword too, what a boss!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

If the 11-episode total is indeed the case (I have no reason to believe it’s not), it feels like - on one hand, a lot has happened but in the other hand - not really all that much? And we still haven’t broached anything about Mitsuri’s background… So, the needles that poisoned Tokito at the start… they’re just… gone, now? Was he able to clear out his own poison? Also Kotetsu is still able to talk, but I don’t know if he’ll last based on the information we’ve got to this point. Gyokko is like… well, for lack of a better comparison, a dog trying to get his master, or Haganezuka in this case, to pay attention to him because it’s feeding time. Or so he thinks. 😂 You’d think we’d be used to the tragic backstory trope by now… hey, novel idea… can we find a character that DOESN’T have one in this series? I think Tokito’s amnesiac personality must e been heavily influenced by his brother’s scolding, but what’s interesting is how his brother rejected everything his parents were standing for after things ended as poorly as they did. The cubism got so big that he must’ve realized it was negatively affecting both of them at some point. But I think his intentions and what he actually did do might have had the opposite effect. “The chosen ones” seems to be a moniker Yuichiro just came up with, but apparently, only they can fight demons, be kind to others, or stand up for their beliefs? The markings definitely have something to do with this… maybe Tokito and Tanjiro are distant cousins or something? Hmm I wonder if it really is Mitsuri’s birthday. Anyway it’s actually mine tomorrow since the subject was broached, but I don’t mind sharing the month with both her and Weiss - could do a lot worse. 😉 Does Demon Slayer’s reaction window go back to Wednesday next week? Something to think about for you - and it MIGHT also take care of another schedule problem that’s going to be happening soon. Just reminding you to think about it before you have to make a decision, again. Anyway I’ve got another reaction to get to, so go make pork cutlets and omurice for yourself if you want to.. I’m making tacos for tomorrow. Too much food talk (but not really!) 😎

That’s a very heartbreaking story. I’m still trying to wrap my head around that he was a twin. That was the most unexpected thing today. But man to be a prodigy and only running on autopilot. It’s sad. :(

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's 11 eps! That's true, there has / hasn't been a lot, I see what you mean. I can't wait for Mitsuri's back story! Yeah, I'm not sure about the poison, I'm guessing that he pushed through it until the mark manifested, and then the mark healed him??? Not sure! I'm holding out hope for Kotetsu! HAHAHHA omg I never thought I'd be comparing the vase demon to a dog but that actually makes so much sense!! I don't think there's one person without tragedy in their past on this show!!! That's so true, Yuichiro's way of handling things actually had the opposite effect. Yeah I'm curious about the chosen one line, and there's gotta be some relation between Tokito and Tanjiro!! I hope you had an awesome birthday!!! It would be so cool if you shared a birthday with Mitsuri!!! Not to mention you share your birthday month with our Ice Queen! I probably will go ahead and put Demon Slayer back to Weds just to even things out a bit! Tacos, yum!!!! Hope you enjoyed them! I'm dying for some pork cutlets and omurice!!!
