Hey everyone!  I'm back today with Kamen Rider Geats episode 36!!!  Wow, can I just say how happy I am with the Ace/Michinaga teamup!!!!!  I'm so glad we're starting to see the real enemy here - and it's not (always) the Riders.  So the admins are planning on gtfo'ing, and anyone from the future who stays behind ceases to exist....yikes!  Also, why was Archmidel's death sort of sad as his children were mourning him?!?!  The cat's out of the bag with Keiwa and Sara, and I love the dynamic between Sara and Neon!  Their conversation here was great.  Also Punkjack!!!  So, even Niram doesn't know about Ace's mom???  Really???  I guess we'll find out more soon...!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) Niram seems to want to rebel against Suel, or at least not totally agree with him. Maybe dying and being resurrected as if he too were just a puppet in the hands of Suel opened his eyes, but I like this new facet of him, it greatly nuances him compared to before. In any case, we see that he is trying to find out the truth about Mitsume, maybe he knows that Suel turned her into a goddess, but not the reasons behind it and that's what he's investigating. Punkjack will have to surpass himself, but he is motivated to help his "bro" and especially Tsumuri. Because he must have realized that Tsumuri could suffer the same fate as she is a navigator. I said Sara might be the one to put Keiwa and Neon back on track, and I wasn't entirely wrong. Even if Keiwa's intervention, reminding Neon that she has friends is a plus, Sara saying that even if her memory is erased she won't forget Neon is a big element that must have done good to Neon's heart. I know I sound obsessed lol, but in a way, fighting for Neon's happiness and telling her to find hers, is what Sae had already done. So even without Sae coming back, I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out so far. We will see for the next episodes, the authors can still make us suffer. Michinaga and Ace, a power couple, these are your own words, but I want to reassure you, I agree with you ^^. I said that this episode made me giggle like a schoolgirl, it's because of these two, especially our big buffalo tsundere. Ace seems to have him well figured out now and knows how to lead him by the nose, but for a good cause. I really like this "redemption arc" of Michinaga and in general how his character was handled. We have seen more than once that he has a good heart, but hides it under his appearance of a tortured guy, we realize it once again here, even if he is still not honest with himself. The announcement of the "big end" and the mention of the dimensional door, makes me say that it risks having its importance, like closing it, leaving Beroba in this dimension, which would erase her for good. But we'll see how it all plays out in the future.

So the thing with Kekera so far is that he is a fan of Keiwa because he is a “true” Kamen rider. Starting from the shows era with the first Kamen rider, they are heroes of Justice who suffered traumatic events that motivate them to selflessly fight for others. The reason Kekera has Archmidel target Sara is to give Keiwa that push to become a “true” Kamen rider. He’s rooting for Keiwa’s wish in a twisted way. Also there’s a PunchJack short special that explains how he came back but I don’t think there’s English subs yet. Also oof, daichi is most likely coming back again

Niram says he doesn’t know what’s going on with Mitsume - and he’s “looking into it.” But is he being genuine, or two-faced? Also, sometimes it’s hard to tell with fan translations, but the subtitles emphasized that Punkjack referred to Ace as “brother.” Hmm… Well, Keiwa and Sara both know the other is a Rider now - it’s amazing it lasted as long as it did given Keiwa’s camouflage… skills… Also you said “the cat’s out of the bag…” and yes, she IS, she’s right there trying to be peacemaker between two rather over strung siblings. Also I guess Sara’s form is a civet, according to the chalkboard Michinaga was working on…? Speaking of that… the DGP is quite the manipulative presence, but they’re not the only one. Ace is using his own manipulative powers on Michinaga. He’s starting by bringing him food, lending an ear, and then he planted that seed rather cleverly about “would you save a Rider from a Jyamoto?” It’s very, well - it isn’t the best comparison but it’s comparable to how Palpatine works but this time the method’s being used to the protagonist’s advantage instead. The whole death scene with Archimedel (don’t worry about the mispronunciation, it’s happened to you for longer stretches of time 😉 - one major character in particular is coming to mind from a show you’ve caught up on) made me feel more like… this is weird. It’s supposed to be somewhat of a spoof given the character but I kinda felt like we took a turn and ended up in a different show for a minute or two. Kekera (the frog) and Beroba are doing exactly what Ziin said, being the most mischievous audience members EVER. What’s even worse is Jekera basically said all this manipulation was just so they could laugh at it. Also the core Beroba has as her new toy is Nadge-Sparrow - yup, that’s Daichi’s. He’s almost certainly not done. Neon has a lot on her mind, but it’s her celebrity status that’s leading her to want everyone to forget her - she wants to stop feeling obligated to them and live a normal life, as much as she can with the knowledge of what she is. It’s ironic, because this is actually a huge arc in another show I’m watching (I cdd as my say what because it’s SO going on your recommendation list when the time is appropriate). I DO wonder if Neon’s dad, despite all he’s done, has some part left to play in the end of this tale… And where is that pesky Suel - there’s more than one Rider who needs to have a word with them… 👀

Yeah I also feel like the Jyamato have originally been beings just thought to be used for the show. If so, I’d like to know why them but I started to feel sorry for them way back when we saw one just working on homework 📚

Hi Spadeas! :) Right, they're not on the same page. I kinda assumed he knew about Mitsume, but maybe he doesn't know all the details like you said. I'm sure Punkjack will do his best! Yeah you were onto something with Sara, I think she made a difference! You're totally right about Sae! Even if she didn't come back, she had a big effect. Hahahaha I mean, I couldn't help but ship Michinaga and Ace just a bit....!!!! Glad I wasn't the only one! Hahaha he is a big buffalo tsundere! I like Michinaga's arc too, primarily because there's no switch flipped or anything, he's still acting totally in character based on what we've seen from him. Yeah the door is an interesting concept. I guess we'll see for sure!

That's the thing, I genuinely can't tell with Niram! Hahahaha it started to remind me of a certain sibling pair from Spy x Family with how ridiculous it was getting! Our cat definitely helped! The "brother" line could just be affection or something more, not sure. I mean, Ace is kinda leading around Michinaga by the nose isn't he! Ace is a fox after all, these types of charms are his thing, but as opposed to using it for evil or power like Palpatine, I guess you could say he's using it for the greater good. Hahahaha thanks, you guys know that names are not my thing :P I'm curious to know who the major character is, was it a Kamen Rider series?? I know, they took a sharp turn in tone there, didn't they?! Oh man, it's really twisted what Kekera and Beroba are doing! Also yeah, we haven't seen the last of Daichi yet! Oooh, I'd be curious to know what that other show is! It's a big burden Neon's dealing with for sure! I wouldn't be surprised if Suel became everyone's common enemy!!!

Ah, since you asked me directly; so I don’t know if you ever did/will pick up on it, since you’re now finished/caught up with Hunter x Hunter, but I’m currently a little over 1/3 of the way through the show and your reactions to it (it’s a long series, as you know) but you kept pronouncing Kurapika’s name to this point completely different than all the show’s characters are saying it. (So far you say it Kur-uh-PEEK-uh, but the show says Kur-RAW-pih-kuh (no E sound)). 🙂 As for what the other anime is, all I can say for now is it’s currently airing and it’s completely CRUSHING the Spring competition. It’ll definitely be on the rec list when it’s time for that, but there’s so much else to already catch up on shows you’ve already pulled the trigger on before we even talk about starting a new one. 😅

Ohhhhh no one ever told me haha! I saw "pika" and just said it like Pikachu :P That anime sounds great! I have no idea when I'll have a slot free for a new anime, maybe sometime in the fall? It sounds like one to consider!!!! Thanks!
